Hi, all. Would anyone be willing to help me sort out why I am unable to post new pages to my Wordpress website using MarsEdit? I'm running Yosemite and the latest version of MarsEdit. I've been successful in editing pages, but not adding new ones. Since I'm new at this, I'm sure there's some user error on my part. Just to be sure, though, I've been emailing Daniel at MarsEdit and he suggested that by the error log I sent him from MarsEdit, he thought there might be a problem with my server and to contact my hosting company.

Have any of you had any success or can share any tips on creating and working with PivotTables in Office Excel using Voice Over? How accessible is working with PivotTables and charts compared to WINDOWS? I will need to use them for accounting areas of work. So will need to be able to work with these tables myself with minimal sighted assistance as possible.

So I'm trying to do stuff with plugins in Garage Band. I can load them just fine, although I se just AU showing up, is anything else supported?
Anyway, my main question is this. How do you open up the plugin's interface? Alternatively, how do you send keys to the plugin, and not GB, and how do you get back to GB when you're done?

Although my question is about using NVivo, the software for analysing qualitative data, you might be able to help me based on general knowledge of using the Mac with VoiceOver. I currently work as a research assistant, and I need to analyse some interview transcripts. I need to go through each transcript, and code, or label, pieces of text with themes. This, of course, means I need to be able to select text, and that's where I'm having a problem. When I open one of the transcripts in my project in NVivo and move to the text, VO tells me I'm on a selectable text inside web content.

I have recorded a few voice memos on the mac. I am trying to get the recordings off to my drop box folder, but I cannot figure out how to move the files.
Any suggestions on how I could do this?

Hi all. i have a year old Macbook pro, with a believe four gb of ram or maybe two, I can't remember. Anyway it takes this thing five minutes, not kidding to boot up. I'm not really in the position to upgrade the memory right now, but if I reinstalled the OS would that speed anything up for a little while? Thanks for any help, just thought I'd ask. I've done everything else, looked in the activity monitor and though I don't know what i'm doing, nothing seems out of place. I should also point out my HD is pretty free so I'm just at a loss. Thanks.

Hello all, with the release of Mac OSX 10.9 Mavericks not that far off for public consumption. I was wondering if anyone with comfidence experience could possibly create a podcast on how one can perform a clean install instead of just upgrading to the newest OSX from a Voiceover prospective.
You see I have read across the web but all of it comes from a visual point of view. So, unless this has already been covered in the past with someone using the Mac and Voiceover then please do point me in the right direction.

what i need:
let's say i need to put headings, lists, links with there tags etc. Am not so talented in using HTML, so am using a mark down editor, and it can convert my text to HTML. but when i pasted this text into my email, it appears as html code, i sent it to myself, and this is what i got. so, how can i do what i need if i need to send an email to an important client or something?

Hello, I was wondering if anybody here had any knowledge of how to insert IPA symbols on the macbook. I'm taking an English and Italian diction class next semester in college, and I need to be able to write in IPA. I've been looking online, and I found this free software, or what I thought was a software, called CharSIL, but when I opened the folder in my downloads, it was all weird images. I couldn't find anything on how to write IPA symbols with pages either. Also, if anyone knows if there's an accessible app for writing IPA on IOS, that would be great.

Hello all. I wanted to show the varying range of temperatures that will be over the course of the next couple of days in facebook. I was told option K would write the degrees symbol, by google, and though I pushed it, nothing was put there. even re-reading my status, I didn't see anything but the numbers. Can anyone help? is it in that imotocons list? If so I forgot how to get there, and it's a bit jumbled. Is there any tips on navigating that palet of stuff? Thanks.

Every time I select text in Sequoia, I hear VoiceOver announce, "Writing Tools in Action menu." Is there any way to disable that announcement? For 99% of the times that I select text, I'm planning to do something other than run an AI check on my selection, and for the remaining 1%, I can figure it out. The announcement serves only to derail my train of thought and disrupt my workflow.
I already have VoiceOver verbosity set to Low.
Any help would be appreciated.
