Hello all:
Just using the Youtube music, and am very happy using it on Ios,
but what about mac? can not find shortcuts for play-stop etc? or even an app to use it rather than the website?
any ideas?

Hi all.

If I load a video, this is my example:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BcqyO-U8OUI

In Safari if I tab through the player, I get play, then mute, volume, and a settings button. For me it was auto-dubbing AI junk, and I wanted the original video. In Firefox, these don't show up. So I just get the play button, then a button that's a clickable image. If I hit that, I get the theater and full screen mode buttons.

Don’t you think the YouTube website is so slow on Google Chrome that it’s almost unusable? What I mean by “slow” is that it’s very responsive for sighted users—loading pages, activating controls, etc.—but VoiceOver navigation is extremely sluggish. I don’t think other websites have this issue; it seems to be specific to YouTube. I honestly don’t know what to do at this point. I’ll also add that YouTube is very responsive with VoiceOver in Safari, unlike in Chrome.

Hi everybody

I’ve realized this—and I’m sure you have too: the YouTube website is way faster on Chrome compared to Safari when it comes to pausing the video, fast forwarding/rewinding, etc. Try using the keyboard shortcuts: K to pause/play, arrow keys or L and J to jump forward/backward in the video, etc. So, I want to use Chrome for YouTube.

Hi, I recently got a Mac and have figured many things out. However, I have a few questions. 1. Is it possible to play videos on YouTube? I've been searching on the page and can't seem to find the play button for videos. 2. Is there any way that I can make Pandora accessible? I've seen a listing for an app called PNOPub, but I Can't find it in the App Store. 3. Is Spotify accessible? I'm sure that there are other things I just can't think of right now, but I would really appreciate any help. Thank you! Brie,

Anyone else disappointed with the upgrade to the YouVersion Bible App? I can no longer split my screen view the way that I really liked. I was formerly able to see the scripture on the right side of my screen as I typed notes on the left side. With the new update, I have to get out of the notes to go and scroll through the scripture. I can add a scripture to my notes, but I cannot freely scroll with the split screen as before. I am wondering if I can roll my version back to the pre-Fall 2019 version. If anyone has tips, please share. Thanks!

Hi! I've used Youtube for some time now to watch youtube content on my Mac. I like the easy interface, and I also like the fact that I don't have to watch all the commercials that I'll have to watch on the web-site.
However, for a while now, YouTube will only work on my MacBook Pro and not on my Mac Mini. On my Mac Mini, all searches come up empty, but on my MacBook Pro, all searches comes up the way it should with all the search results displaying as expected.

Hi all, hope everyone’s doing good.
So I’ve had my MacBook Pro for a few months now and really like it. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to play Z machine games on the Mac? maybe like a program or website would be fine. Something like frotz. I have frotz on my phone and really enjoy it but it gets pretty tiring using the on-screen keyboard, even with the shortcuts that come with the app. Does anything like this exist for the Mac? If so, can you please light the way?
I’d highly Appreciate any advice that I can get. Thanks, stay safe, and have a good day.

Hello everyone,

I'm Meriç Karaca, the developer of ZeroStudio. The native Mac version is now available on the Mac App Store, and I'd welcome feedback from people who record and edit with VoiceOver on macOS.

I have the latest Zoom so that's not the issue. When I joined a meeting half an hour ago, sound was fine. I need to do a study and after a couple of minutes with me being recorded, the sound suddenly went very low. I could still hear the host, but my speech wouldn't raise allowing me to give the feedback sought. I have rescheduled so I have a few days to figure this out. I know this was an issue last time I used zoom, I just don't know how it was able to be fixed. Please if someone uses Zoom more frequently then once around the sun, help. Thanks.

I facilitate meetings using Zoom and don't want VM to go out on the call. Is there a way I can block VM from the conference but still have access for my own screen navigation? Thanks for any advice.

Hi. I have downloaded Zoom on my MacBook Pro (brand new last year) but for some reason when we are all talking together other people in the meeting can't hear me and I just break up. Other users of Mac can always hear everyone else but not me. Do I have to do something in my settings? Sorry if this is confusing but its difficult to explain. Basically when I talk it seems like my microphone turns off and then turns back on when its quiet and no-one else is talking. It works fine on my iPad though. Its sooooo frustrating. Thank you.

Hello Everyone!

I have an important question for all of you as it relates to Zoom. First of all, I used Zoom on my new IMac Computer and I discovered that none of the short cuts for raising my hand and all are not enabled. This is especially true when I join my Zoom Meetings with ACB, and the whole 9 yards.

So, here's my question. Since I have a brand new IMac Computer, how am I supposed to enable the KEyboard Showrtcuts in order for me to use Zoom? Am I supposed to do something in the computer's settings under voice over or accessibility?

I've rarely had problems using the Zoom app on MacOS, until lately. If I search for a control using VO+F, or try to jump to a table using VO+Command+T, VoiceOver announces, "Zoom US is not responding". And it repeats this message every few seconds, even if I don't press any key commands or otherwise interact with either Zoom or VoiceOver. Toggling VoiceOver off and back on doesn't help. The only solution is to Force Quit Zoom. Alternatively, I can bring some other window to the foreground to stay in my zoom meeting and silence the not responding message.

Hello,

When I play CyclePath with VoiceOver I sometimes accidentally enable the quicknav feature, which is most of the time lethal. And WebTTS (with VoiceOver disabled) doesn't seem to announce the UI elements as I traverse around. If anyone could lend a hand I'd be eternally grateful.
Thanks.

Hello,
I have discovered that the auto web spot does not work as intended for my Mac. When invoked, it just plays the "command not available" sound. Does anyone else experience this issue as well? If yes, then do you have a workaround for this issue?
Thanks in advance,
Sadik

Hi everyone. I may have asked this before so I'm sorry if i duplicated my question. i enjoy using the imogee characters on the phone, but i find the pallet using control comand space very hard to use. Does anyone know of a podcast either here or elsewhere, preferably well done, about how to navigate that a bit more easily? I gave p on it when I know what i was looking for wasn't hard to find. Thanks.

Introduction

Hello all, So I have not really been making an announcement about one of my games on AppleVis. However, I figured I'd give this a go, since this is a new concept of mine. This game is planned to be compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux, allowing for more versatility.
