Hello everybody hope everyone is safe and well. Since Thursday I am not able to login to my school account or any other accounts in Microsoft outlook. When I tried to sign into the account, the continue button is dimmed and there is no update in my existing accounts besides the school one. I do have to login to my school account every years because of changing passwords, and I have done in my phone and it worked out fine. But when I tried to get into the account on my Mac, it doesn't work plus the whole app is not sinking itself. Could somebody help?

I use text expander to create forms that I auto fill out for my students' reports. I also use it to crect any spelling mistakes I might have. I don't liek the web site feel, and now the stupid menu comes up that I can't get rid of no matter how hard I try. Is there a replacement I can get that will allow me to create the same complex forms such as pop up boxes and edit fields I fill out and have pasted into a file? I'm running mac os 11.4.x. I did contact them about all of these issues, but they have not responded in about 6-8 months.

As many of us are having issues with Safari and VoiceOver on the latest iterations of macOS (see: Past 5 years) I wrote up a small script (see: Extremely basic) that may be of some use.
What it does:

In a nutshell, it toggles off VO, then opens Safari. It will speak aloud "Safari" just to simulate VO if you were, say, to click on the Safari dock icon to open it. Once Safari loads the focus is placed on Safari, and then VO re-engages.

What it does not do:

So I've managed to install Windows 8 Pro on my Mac Mini. With the mac, i'm only using a Mac keyboard.
My question is this: When running Windows, What key, or key combination, do i use to substitute the applications key on the Apple keyboard? I read somewhere that you should use shift +f10, but on the mac keyboard, f10 is the mute button, and thus it's not working. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks very much.

Hi all!

In my infinite wisdom, gained at the feet of such mighty scholars as Brian, Tyler and others, I accidentally stumbled on a solution for unwanted focus jumping to the end or beginning of my Apple Mail inbox every time I moved or deleted an email, to wit, immediately after the deletion or moving and before doing anything else:

Press VO-left arrow

or

VO-right arrow.

Hello all. For Christmas, I will likely be getting a mac mini, mid 2010 version. Will this support Mountain lion and all its features? I will paste its specks below, and the site at which I will be getting it from.

Hello,
I've been using Pages for a while, and I noticed that, when I stop interracting with text, VoiceOver tells me the page number and the total number of pages which is mistaken (e.g. It says: ”Out of page 180 of 189”, and in fact, the document contains 815 pages. Why does this happen? Or is there a way to fix it?

And I was wondering if there's a way to create a shortcut which displays the page number without having to interract with the text and get out of it?
Thank you.

Access to Apple Music is broken on the Mac as of MacOS 15.2, and like most Voiceover bugs APple is showing no sign of finding a solution despite this effectively removing access to a service we pay for. Having coresponded with them recently they really seem to care very little. I became frustrated today trying to find something new to listen to and eventually discovered Apple Music has a web player. This might be old news to some, but it turns out the web player is fully accessible.

Hi everyone. I just wanted to share a work-around that I found for signing PDF's in the Preview app and see if anyone else has used this method or has found a better one.
For the most part, the process is a fairly straightforward one. Follow these steps to signing a document:

I'm writing this in a hurry. Is there a way to copy a chat transcript from a skype chat? I need it for proof of something. I can't go into any detail, but thanks.

I'm finding that whenever I pause a podcast, and resume it, nothing seems to happen. Voice over announces play to indicate that the podcast should've resumed, but it does not. I tried restarting downcast but the problem persists. Is anyone else having this problem?

Hi!
I'm very happy to confirm that, in a few days, will be released our spaghetti-western audiogame, A Western Drama.
We have been working on the project for a long time, before getting to the final version. The full game will feature the evolution of Wade as a bounty hunter, from the first scoundrels to the most dangerous criminals of the frontier. The game has arcade mechanics, a sound design based on typical frontier atmospheres and a spaghetti-western soundtrack. As lovers of the genre, we tried to create a product that was first of all a beautiful western.
