So, you may recall that I posted in the basement region of AppleVis about purchasing a PC. Sick of how pants voiceover is with Microsoft Word, the industry standard, I decided to give Windows a punt.

Hello everyone,
I got my Mac a few days ago, it's the new air 2020 with a customized configuration (a better CPU) and I love it so far. Though there are a few things I can't really figure out. It's a lot of questions so I didn't want to open a forum topic for each of them, I hope that's ok. So here it goes:
Hi all. I just wanted to share a few bugs i found in the last few days while i have sierra installed on my Macbook air.
First, Siri not working propperly
As someone else said, Siri is not 100%accessible. The only thing i noticed was not accessible at all for now, was that in a few cards, i would here details, collection. When i went into it, i herd, item, one of x, x being the number of items. And you can't click or interact with any of that.
Next: Finder being very busy, apparently
Hello all,
Got a macbook Air 8 gb, 256 SSD version (M1). It's a bit of a learning curve. Here are my questions for now:
1. What is the use of the launchpad?
2. What can we use the desktop area for?
3. In the mac app store, I know how to search for an app. After pressing the return key, I am lost. Could somebody post a step-by-step process?

Hi. Using a Macbook with OS10 El Capitan. Is therre a way to stop Voiceover anouncing "Blank Line" on Pages documents? In WINDOWS, I am able to have this silenced, making the reading experience better, when moving from line to line. Also, can anyone recommend good music production software for the Mac, which is Voiceover friendly? I would be looking to record multi tracks of guitar, keyboard, vocals etc, then mix these into a stereo track, which can be burnt to CD etc. If such an app exists, what is it called and what cost might be involved?
I welcome everyone. I noticed that the speed of speaking text when logging in when the macbook was just turned on, as well as the speed of voiceover speech in the terminal, is much lower than when working in other applications. And in general, the maximum speech rate feels slower than the same voiceover speech synthesizer on my iPhone. Can I somehow make voiceover speak faster in the terminal? Can I somehow speed up the used speech synthesizer above 100%, even if this would have to use some alternative methods that are not related to the voiceover settings?
hello their, first of all, thanks for posting replies for my yesterday's foram topic on reaper vs logic. I came up with few more questions. 1. how is the accessibility of some of the vst's with VO on mac? like I mostly use kontakt, nexus, sylinth1, waves for mixing, etc.
2. can we use the vurchual keybord to play music on mac? because, sometimes i manages to compose some of. the beats and melodies using the laptop keybord on my windows, so will it works same on the mac as well?
I'm getting sick of apple mail's screwing up and losing my mail authorizations. This has now happened to me 3 or 4 times this year. And this after a clean install a few weeks ago. I'm looking for a mail client that will do what apple mail did plus sed later and over functions I might need. I tried Newton, not accessible, then I tried poly mail, also not very accessible. And both of these were web interfaces. Is there anything out there that is not a dog gone web app? I hate web apps with a passion.
can any one give any suggestions on a accessible rss reader for the Mac? I am using a Mac book air 200014
Hello Apple Vis,
I'm wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a good script play or screen play writing app? I've had a few carton ideas where the use of different people and voices are part of it. I just Wondered if there was any accessible apps for this purpose?
Thanks in advance.

hey, anything lightweight, for editing audio?
I'm searching and searching.
So I got my second mac two weeks ago, and thought it is now the time to reinstall Yosemite on my older mac. A new life to the older mac should include new blood and soul, so I ordered a Samsung SSD Evo 850 with amazing 535MB-S reading speed, the boring spinning HD is only 80/100 in best cases. This is possible on my MacBook Pro 2012, newer models already have almost the same SSDβs by Samsung. The new Mac I got was the Air 11.6, and I was amazed with the supersonic boot time and indescribable copy-paste processes.
Hello everyone, I have a question regarding the mac. it's regarding where the music is stored. OK, I know you could find it on iTunes, and on a windows PC, all of the music is stored onto my computer by pressing windows E, so, where is music stored on my Mac? is it stored in my mac HD harddrive? I would like to know because I would like to save all of my music as soon as my MacBook air arrives. I have a flash drive with all of my downloaded music, and the rest of my music is stored in the cloud, meaning all of my iTunes purchases.
Hi there everyone. I have some questions regarding the applications on the Mac that allow you to load Windows. I know Bootcamp is a great app offered by Apple but my plans are that I'm on my way to get Vm Fare Fusion. I've read that this app lets you use 2 Operating systems without rebooting. If I understand this correctly does this mean that with a Shortcut I can do my work on both ends (Windows and Apple) and switch between them simultaneously? If not please verify what this means?
I use to be able to type in a contact's name in the search field in FaceTime, and the search results would get populated in the table. However, despite voiceover announcing "search results table", the table is actually recent calls, and not the search results. there doesn't appear to be a way to get to the actual search results.
Has anyone also found this to be the case? Or, is there another way to access the search results.
