I'm totally blind and rely solely on voice over to use my macbook air. I'm attempting to sign up to an online training course but all the e-lessons are done in flash. Currently i can't seem to get voice over to work with it, does anyone know if it is possible?

I downloaded Amadeus Pro on my mac. So far I know how to join files so that they sound one after anohter, but how do I join files so that they both sound at the same time? Thanks for any help.

Hi all,
I was playing with the Amazon Cloud Reader and have a bit of a problem. I was able to get the book to read to me after I interacted with the frame. The problem is that Voice over reads each word like it's on a separate line. This just makes the reading a bit tedious. Anyone know of a way to make it read correctly?

Hi all,
I was trying to use Amazon's Cloud Reader and ran into this problem. After interacting with the IFrame, Voice over reads each word like it is on a separate line. I tried the VO + A to read it, but the same issue happens. It's driving me nutty trying to read a Kindle book this way! Is there any other way to make Voice Over read the text properly, not one word per line?

Hello, please would anyone be able to assist me?
I am trying to use the Audacity application on my iMac. I have looked about for information on how to use this application but the information I have found has been very technical and as a beginner to editing audio I find it confusing.
I am able to copy a pre-recorded file into the application but that is as far as it goes with my ability.
If anyone knows of any step by step guide or other resource I can access I would very much appreciate it.

Hi all.
I've just updated to Mac OS Sierra and am trying to access the new optimised storage options, not because I want to use them, but rather because I want to make sure they are switched off.
I have navigated to the manage storage section in About This Mac, but have not found the options described in mainstream articles about this. All I see is something called Recommended, which I can't seem to do anything with, a list of apps etc on the Mac, and something called System which again I can't seem to do much with.

Hello: I am trying to convert some large sound files from .wav to .mp3 on a mac. I have iTunes, vlc media player and also sound studio. The latter doesn't seem to have an option for converting to mp3. I understand that this can be done on both iTunes and vlc, but I can't seem to get the hang of doing this. Can anyone give me advice on the easiest way to do this? Alternatively is there an easier solution by way of another program that would allow me to convert to .mp3 easily. Thanks for the help.

I would like to transfer my daisy books onto my external drive using the I Mac.
I have recently been using my lap top but it is no longer working.
After I have put my books onto my external drive I then have to transfer them to my Victor Streme reader?
Any tips would be appreciated.

Hi; Can anyone help me with some formatting issues in pages. I am using the speak attributes function which does give me some idea of how text is formatted on a page. However, is there any way to get line and column information from voiceover in regards to the position of a letter or word on the page? I want to make sure that text is aligned properly without necessarily having to set up tabs. If there is no way to check this, what is the best way to set up a situation where I have two columns; one justified at the left of the page, and the other justified to the right?

hi all, I hope your all well I'm running the free version of Folx, I'm having a strange problem when I go to download files from a website after a few seconds folx tels me that the file is 1kb and that the task has finished no matter what size the file is. then when I check my downloads folder I find that that folx has only downloaded 1kb of the file.
any one got any thoughts on what the problem could be and how to fix it? your help with this problem would be most welcome, kind regards trey.

Hi all. I have google drive installed both on my mac and on my iPhone. So, when I open a google docs document in my iPhone, it takes me directly to the google drive app. However, if I open a google docs document on my mac, it takes me to the google docs safari page, which is not very friendly for vo users. Is there a way, so that when I open a google docs document on the mac, it opens it in google drive app, and not on safari? Thanks for any help.

Hi yall.
Can anyone help me figure out how to do headers in Pages? I need to be able to write papers in MLA format which requires that my last name and current page number be in the upper right corner of each page.
I have yet to figure out exactly how to do this. I understand how to navigate to the headers and footers field and interacting with it. Ince I do that though, I'm lost. Perhaps it's because I've never worked with these in any word processer before. Anyway, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Good morning everyone. So yesterday my bootcamp partition effectively ate itself for dinner. I need to reinstall it right away, and I don't have sighted assistance available. I am using the latest version of iTunes and OS. Frankly, I'm getting old and forgetful. Having gotten a new iPhone, I want to add a significant volume of music to the phone. When I loaded a significant portion of my library previously, I recall the ability to choose music by simply clicking on a checkbox artists or albums and then syncing to my phone. This no longer seems possible. What is the easiest way manually to move music to the phone as I don't want to move my whole library.

Hi all, I just did a clean install of mac os on my computer. Before doing this, I exported my library. Long story short, when I import my library back to iTunes, all the songs import, but when I press enter to play any song, a beep sounds, like when you cant press a button, or its dimmed. I cant play any of my imported songs. Thanks for any help.

Hi All,
Does anyone know how to select noncontiguous songs in iTunes? I know in windows it was hold the control button while using the up and down arrow keys and then the space bar on the ones you want to select. I can't figure it out on my Macbook.
I also can't figure out how to select contiguous songs either.
Any help would be appreciated.
