A couple of years ago, I got a Vitadoc+ bluetooth scale. The problem is that the IOS app isn't accessible with VoiceOver at all. Almost nothing is properly labeled, and some interface elements are impossible to focus on.

So does anyone have recommendations for wifi/bluetooth scales with accessible IOS apps?

I've been using a Qardio blood pressure monitor for the past 4 years, and it has generally worked well - the companion app is accessible for controlling the monitor and reading the measurements when taken. It's not so great for accessibility of past measurements, but these can be accessed via the Health app.

hello all, for several months i've wanted an air fryer, and looked on several sites and finally i found one. its not the amazon oven air fryer microwave combo, but this air fryer is much cheaper, but it is a good one. it is called the cosori smart air fryer, and it's touch screen. before everyone starts freaking out and saying why did you buy this model if it is touch screen let me explain. you see, not only does this air fryer have all touch screen, but it also has a smart phone app called vesync which allows you to control this air fryer.

Would appreciate any recent comments on accessibility of the Nest (low end, not the Learning Thermostat) and Honeywell thermostats for totally blind users. Specifically,
1) How is the accessibility on their iOS apps?
2) Can you control these apps with Siri? with Alexa?
3) Do the apps allow you to control the AC/Heat fan?

Thanks.

I have the DirecTV app, but in order to subscribe, I'm wondering if anyone has resources concerning their box and its accessibility. I was told a podcast was on Applevis, but I'm not finding it. Thank you.

Hi,
My friend and I were talking earlier. We were wondering if their are any oven apps for the iPhone?

Hello All, I was wondering if anyone knows if the Elgato Eve app is accessible for their products you can connect. In short, can I control my connected devices through the app without sighted assistance?

Hoover have a range of wi-fi connected appliances collectively called Wizard which can all be fully controlled by one app. These include a fridge-freezer, washing machine, cooker, and dish-washer. I wonder has anyone come across any of these? In particular the app as of course I'm keen to know whether it works with Voice Over?

Hello everyone.
I have been looking into accessible bluetooth scales, as the talking kitchen scales in later years seems not to be as durable as in times past. But it seems the most options e.g. the smart chef scale is only available in the U.S. market.
Anyone aware of an accessible Bluetooth scale that has an accessible app that is being sold in Europe?
The scale has to have a precision of 1 Gram, and should weigh up to 3 or even better 5 KGs.
Thanks for any inputs in advance.

Using 13 pro and iPad 9 with iOS 17.1.1. I live in a condominium and I would like to get a door bell for my place. It has to be put on the door and not wall. Management does not want the wall affected. Any suggestion. Hoping on black Friday within Amazon, I find a nice deal. Accessible and easy to use. Thanks.

Hi all, I have read 2 threads about video doorbells. I'm totally blind and am not sure that I need all the video features. Does anyone use an intercom system? Is one of the units durable enough to be outside? Thanks.

In light of prime day, I want to finally treat myself to a echo studio. However, what I can not decide at the moment is whether it is worth pairing it with the echo sub or not? Will I still get clear deep bass with just the studio or will it help having the sub as well.

Hi everyone
I am considering getting an Ecobee smart thermostat. I am wondering how accessible the app is on IOS. I know that I can use the thermostat with Alexa, but I would also like to be able to independently program the thermostat with the app.
Can anyone let me know if the app is usable with an iPhone? If not, is there another alternative?
Thanks for your help.

Hi everyone,
yesterday I won a Yale smart lock as a prize, now I'm thinking about buying an IP camera from the same company.
I'd like to ask if someone has experiences with these products? Is Yale smart home app accessible? Are smart living sollutions, in general, accessible for us?
Many thanks in advance and greetings from Croatia!
Kind regards, Tea Turkovic
