Smart Home Tech and Gadgets

Hi,
Not exactly sure if I'm posting this in the right place. Anyway, I just got the Webber iGrill 2 meat thermometer. I'm planning on using it with my brand spanking new Pit boss pellet grill. Anyone on here use the iGrill meat thermometers and can give me some tips/tricks/guides/tutorials on how to properly use it with VO? From what I can see (having only used it once last night while grilling burgers) it seems very simplistic to use.
Like I said, anyone use this and can y'all possibly give me some tips/tricks?
Thanks for all your help,
Justin

Hi all,

Could somebody give me a step by step for using the Vesync iPhone app to control the Cosori smart air fryer please? I'm able to use the air fryer manually, but as sensitive as the screen is I feel like it'll be easier to use the phone. Btw if it matters I have the pro III fryer, model number CAF-P583S-KUS.

I think I have the fryer connected to wifi because when I do cook manually I get a notification on my phone when the food is ready, and I've been in touch with Cosori's tech support and they haven't been much help to me.

I think the subject line pretty much says it all. I need to get a new washer and dryer. What have you found to have accessible apps? Thanks in advance.

hi so this kind of a hardware question but also could be an app question so I was wondering if when you plug the TV into the WeMo smart plug can you change the inputs on the TV as well as turn the TV on or off

What is every ones fave way to access there home security system? Either via a app or a web browser?

I'm in the market for a new machine to use at home. Life Fitness seems to have all the tech I could want, with no accessibility!

Peleton Bike+ seems fully accessible, with TalkBack available, but I'd really like an Elliptical.

Nordidk Track sound promising, wiht the instructor being able to control the device, but how useable would that be really?

Anyone got any ideas or suggestions. As you might have guessed, cost is not really the issue.

Hey,

I've got an apple TV and it's great, for the most part. What I don't like is how its not so easy to get live channels and how NetFlix isn't part of up next.

I was wonderings, as they are so cheap, how people found the amazon fire stick in the UK? Is it possible to watch live TV? Is it Possible to watch live TV with AD? And, Finally, does netflix play nice with it, shows appearing in the up next etc... Or whatever the fire stick equivalent is? Thanks...

am about to purchase a smart watch for myself, but i'll not be able to purche the apple watch, it is so expensive for me.
so, are there smart watches that are accessible for us? and have cool features like receiving calls, controling my iphone media etc?
thanks in advance

Hi all, I use Netflix and Amazon instant with my Mac and iOS devices.
I am looking at getting a media streamer for my tv but am not sure which to go for and was hoping people on the site might have experience in this area.

Do any thermostat apps (Honeywell, Nest, Ecobee3, etc) allow one to access current room temperatures using VoiceOver? How about high and low temps? Am I asking too much?

Have looked at the Honeywell demo app but don't find simple room temperature accessible. Perhaps, I'm doing something wrong. The Nest people tell me their app isn't accessible with VoiceOver (Hee Hee!) and viewing the Nest app (no demo) doesn't offer any clues. The ecobee app (no demo) doesn't seem accessible from what little I could get out of it.
