Hi. I am about to get an Iphone 5, and I'm wondering if the Dish Remote Access app is accessible. I am not so much concerned with setting recordings, but on my current android device I am able to select the show I want to watch and start it playing on my TV. I'm wonering if this is accessible with the app on the Iphone. Thanks for any help.

Hello I was wondering are there any apps or software where I can somehow get the ipod touch 5 G in to disk mode so I can transfer and or copy files to or from the PC in USB mode so I can manage files a lot easier. Cause what I would like to do is hook up the Itouch to my pc and do it that way instead the wi-fi way. I want to be in control of my stuff and I can do with out the file sharing stuff. Is anyone using anything to make this happen? I have not bought te Ipod Touch yet, but would love to it sounds awesome since I do use Itunes mainly on the PC for radio and music.

Hello, With the new OS coming up the keyboard hints on the iPad are going to be invaluable. Does anyone know how to dismiss them? Example: On the ipad when using a bluetooth keyboard with the current OS holding command for about 3 seconds brings up a rather nice command list. How do I dismiss the list? Pressing escape just takes me out of the app and back to the home screen. Thanks.

hi guys. i have updated my ipad to 17.4.1 (latest update). disney plus is also latest version. when playing something, there is a "direct touch" area in the app which lets you go back/forward on whatever is playing. this does not work with voiceover at all. i have tried adding it to the roter, adding it to the selected apps, removing it again, and all of the other usual steps you would take. holding the ipad in portrait or landscape does not make any difference either.

Hi I am in the UK does any one else have issues with the Disney Plus app on the iPhone? I am running an iPhone 10s with IOS13.4 and Voiceover. I have downloaded the Disney Plus app but when I open it none of the buttons on the opening page work. I can't sign up for a free trial or log on. Is anyone else facing this problem?

hi to everyone. please forgive me if this is in the wrong place. i have only been a member for about 10 minutes!!. i have the latest version of ios installed on my iphone xr, and my ipad. i also have the latest version of the disney plus app. it seems to be getting further and further away from accessibility!!. now, in the player controls, i have two controls that just say "button". the "back" button also doesn't work, thats when you can actually get to it. it seems, that you also have to keep selecting your own profile, everytime you open the app.

I’ve been thinking of bundling my already-subscribed Disney+ with Paramount+. If I bundle, will I still get Audio Description from Paramount+, particularly on my iOS devices? Can I use the Paramount+ app as I normally would if I only had a subscription to Paramount+?

Has anyone else had the following problem with the official Twitter app and with other edit fields when entering text? (I'll use my experience with the official Twitter app for this example.) I will be entering a new tweet. When the edit field is up with the on-screen keyboard below, my finger will sometimes wander into the edit field while searching for either the "hashtag" or "at" symbol. When my finger wanders into this area, the cursor is displaced to that area with no verbal feedback as to where it has gone.

Hi.First the screen question.
when using my ipad apps Changes the layout of the screen.
For example when playing a game i have to swipe up and down instead of left and right that the game says.
I'm using a smart Logitech keyboard, so I can't change the position of the ipad.
And now to the update/upgrade question.
I need to update the ipad. some apps does require ios 9.3, and I have only 9.1
that operating system was in the ipad when I bought it.
I've Heard that in ios 10.2 some brailedisplays doesn't work at all.

I have just purchased my new iphone with great enthusiasm only to be dissapointed by really bad quality of sound on VO. It is new iphone 5s, I have tried abslutely everything! I went to the apple store and was told that perhaps my handset is faulty and was offered a replacement. But after trying 4 other new handsets with the same problem I was told that this is probably the problem with the batch that they:Apple store received. I was also told that that they have send their comment and I should hear within 24 hours instruction about how to fix this.

I've just bought a new iPhone 11 to replace my SE and found that VoiceOver vibration is extremely disturbing!!!
Who fxxking thinks out this kind of alert for users with normal hearing?
Ok, you think that it's well designed for the visually impaired.
But why doesn't the VO rotor include the control of vibration???
It's very ridiculous that sounds of VO can be turned on / off via rotor but vibration cannot!
It vibrates after my every move... It makes me think of some kinds of s*x toy!

Hi, considering, yet again, getting a larger iPad and keyboard to use as a distraction free writing machine. I was wondering if the bug I experienced a couple of years back and have read about since is still present? It's basically that certain, if not all (couldn't test all), keyboard cases from 3rd party manufacturers being closed results in voiceover continuing to talk, IE, not sleeping as it should. I know this was the case with the logitech combo touch which I tried, and think I heard it happened with the Brydge keyboards too.

Has anyone had trouble with the Do Not Disturb feature in iOS6. I know in Settings, Notifications, you can set the Do Not Disturb feature to be active at certain times. I have set mine to have Do Not Disturb turned on from 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. However, I am still getting notifications during these times, and when I check my status bar on top of the iPhone screen, it shows Do Not Disturb as being turned off.
Any ideas?

If you enable Do Not Disturb, will VoiceOver still read notifications if you have them enabled to show on your locked screen?

I have noticed when I use do not disturb with the latest iOS on iPhone 5, sometimes voiceOver will speak alerts for calls. I can't remember if texts are read, I have times where it works just as I expect it, but sometimes when I really don't want to be disturbed, I get the alerts, but no ringtone. Has anybody else experienced this? I am concerned it will do it in a meeting or some other important event.
