Mac

Hello all. I hope you are having a great weekend.
I'm writing to see if anyone else has had this problem and/or has a potential solution since I can't find anything online anywhere about it and only one other person is having the same problem.
I'm a pianist, and regularly record audio for performances with virtual instruments.
However, I notice whenever I use apps such as Zoom and clubdeck, the audio from loopback is in mono and yes, I have checked the settings of the apps I'm using to ensure they are set to stereo.

I have a question for those of you who use the Loopback app on macOS.
Here’s the situation: during a FaceTime Audio call, I’d like my conversation partner to hear both my voice and my screen reader. However, my voice is very quiet despite proper volume settings, and the screen reader is barely audible β€” only a few words can be heard every now and then.

Hi all. I grabbed my mac, read two bills withit successfully. However it told me the app needed to be updated. If it won't continue, does anyone have any other Mac solutions? i don't use it often, but i find it easier and faster then the iphone counterpart. Thanks.

Does anyone know how to get the Louis Braille Translator to work?
I downloaded it on my Mac book air running Mavericks and when I try to convert a file from text to braille the translation never appears. Would love to contact the developer Greg Kearney, but I can't seem to find an email or any contact information.
Thanks
Tristen

Hi everyone. I've recently run into a problem and I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing this. I did a search for this and couldn't find anything, but my apologies in advance if it is already here. My problem is that there doesn't seem to be a low-battery alarm, or if there is I don't know how to enable it yet. I asked my trainer about this when my mother and I were at the Apple store a couple days ago, but he didn't know how to enable it either.

Hello all,
I have been noticing something weird about my M1Macbook air.
If My Mac is on battery with low power mode turned on, then the VO performance degrades noticibly. Particularly, the Siri Voices sound a tad different. I was able to reproduce this with using British male and female Siri Voices.
Has anybody noticed this?
Thank you and have a smashing day ahead!

Hey everyone,

I've just upgraded to one of the new MacBook Pros with touch bar.

I have been using FileVault for years and it seems that, on the newer Mac models, VO has limited speech to guide through unlocking FileVault at startup. For example, it asks for the username, then the password. The beep indicators are still also present.

One issue I'm finding is that both the VO hints and the beep indicators are extremely loud, although my internal speakers are set to a fairly low volume. I have no other speakers connected.

Hello,
I have tried looking online and have not found much info at this point about this. I wanted to see if anyone had success using LUNA w/ VoiceOver? Any info or resources would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hello everyone,

Version 1.2.5 of Lunaver Studio is almost ready for macOS and iOS. For those who followed the August post, this release is the next step toward a studio that works by ear from the first line to the final export. It brings three new capabilities.

Hi everyone happy New Year, hope you're all doing well and staying safe. Recently I got a new M1 MacBook Air. I would like to know if it's possible to use VoiceOver to enter the recovery mode on a MacBook Air? also is it possible to use VoiceOver to navigate the boot options menu of the MacBook Air. If this isn't possible, is there a way to change what disk the system boots from whilst logged in like on the old Max start-up disk option? I've tried googling this, but my Google search didn't yield any useful responses so I'm asking here.

This message is for those who have used VoiceOver on an Intel Mac and have moved to an M1-based MacBook Air, Pro or a Mac mini.

I'm looking for an honest evaluation of how VoiceOver performs under conditions where it is working with tons of UI views on screen. For example, multiple playlists in Music, very large arrays in Numbers, audio editing programs with lots of tracks, web pages with lots and lots of Java Script.

Hey guys, I'm brand-new to this πŸ˜‚ so I'm not even sure if I'm putting this in the right section, but I was wondering if anybody has any experience with DJ software on macs 😁
Basically, I'm considering buying a Mac but I need to make sure I can use station playlist studio for DJing before I buy one.
If anybody has any information on this, please could you let me know.
Thanks lots

Hello folks,
I took a class through braille institute here in Los Angeles in the basic navigation points for the mac, as I have needed to use one while at a place I go to on Friday, and for the most part it has gone well. The agency I'm with wants us to take classes to improve our skills, and I've taken several using my Windows PC, and recently delved with this on the mac. The site in question is <a href="http://www.universalclass.com">Universal Class. </a>

Hello,
I was wondering if there's an accessible quiz creation app on the Mac. I'm interested in being able to create multiple-choice and fill-in-the-blanks quizzes and taking them in the app or saving them in HTML format.
Thanks.

Hi all Delighted to be writing this on my new 11 inch macbook air!!! I am afraid though I am a little rusty on a few things, and one in particular I was hoping for some help with. When I install an app from a website, like adium for example, how do i move the app to the applications folder, and make it so that it doesn't ask me if i want to open the app all the time? i have tried copying the app to the applications folder on my mac, but it still asks me if i want to open the app. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Kerie

Hi on of my friends who uses a mac was trying to download a app from the app store.
She was going to the search box to find the app she was looking for but all of the buttons in the app store including the search box was dimmed.
How do you fix this problem?
