Hello guys,
I upgraded to El Capitan two days ago, and now I found that my Internet is really slower than before. It takes a lot time to load a page. I have a Mac mini. Does something wrong with the new OS X?
hi all,
I have a problem, my Mac is so sluggish. when I press on any button,, in most times voiceover is so late to speak.
when I leave it open for 3 or 4 minutes, it doesn't work for seconds until in responds.
even when I press cmd+ f5 to turn on/off voiceover, I have to press it many times until it works.
it's also remarkable that many applications go busy more than before.
is it a bug with Mac OS Sierra? or do I have a problem which has to be solved.
please help me out.
thanks
I don't know how to control him! I would think if I clicked my mouse somewhere Voice Over would read from there, but it does not work that way. Is there some way to make that happen?
Also, I don't understand the difference between Voice Over Cursor and Mouse Cursor.
Hi all:
Frankly I spent all my life til now using my HD for Storing music and this is not good, i decided to look for Something like APple music or Spotify, Am sure that Apple music will be more accessible, i got my 3 free month, but I can not fully use the app on mac, is there a detailed podcast on how to use the apple music on mac? Thanks in advance.
FishScreenReader is an OCR screen-reader app. It can help you to use apps that VoiceOver can’t read. It can point your mouse to the text it recognized and click it for you.
I have added more voice options and offline OCR to the app this week. Now you can choose which voice to use and adjust its speed. Offline OCR gives you more privacy and better result if you have a poor internet connection. Now you can also select how to read words that the app can't determine the language. You can select to read it in the system language or English.
Hi everyone.
I don’t like safari so i’v downloaded the chrome from google’s website.
I can open it from the desktop, but i want to open it with launchpad. The problem is i don’t know how to drag and drop the chrome app or if it’s possible to do that with macos sonoma. I’v never used the drag and drop so i need your help.
Also i accidentally disabled the external device on my mac and now i can’t find my flashdrive on the menu when it’s plugged in for some reason
Hi! After updating to Yosemite, it seems that I'm no longer able to name new VO activities in the VO Utility settings. I just can't find an edit field or any other way to put in the name after the activity is created.
I don't remember exactly how this was done either in Mavericks or in MountainLion, but I certainly remember that it was doable and also pretty streight forward.
Is this another Yosemite bug, or has anyone figured out a way of doing this?
Thanks! :)
Greetings all,
Does anyone know of a tagging/renaming tool for the mac that will name files based on Artist and track title? I just finished downloading bunches of my music in better quality from iTunes match, but they aren’t named correctly. For instance, “Unwound” from George Strait just says, 01 Unwound. I want it to say, “George Strait - 01 - Unwound”

Hi everyone,
Sorry for the late notice, However, due to the high number of enquiries about Native Instruments Maschine, I have decided to do a webinar consisting of a demo showing how accessible this DAW is, followed by Q and A. Whether you already use Maschine, or are just interested in checking it out, this is for you.
It will be a 3 PM UK time this afternoon on zoom.
Please see link below.
Looking forward to see you there!
Topic: Jay's Maschine Webinar, Live Demo Plus Q And A.
Time: Apr 1, 2020 03:00 PM London
Hopefully this will be a quick one.
I use the native Apple mail program and have for years. Recently, somewhere around Mac OS 27, I began experiencing odd issues. At this point, they have culminated into a real problem: I can't reach separate email accounts.
Oh, Ican see the All Inboxes, All Drafts, All Sent, etc, but nothing below that would normally let me see each account's folders.
Help?

Hi guys!
I've been a heavy user of VLC for a long time.
Now, I do like the media player don't get me wrong. but I was wondering if anyone knows of any better alternatives for a mac with an M1 chip?
I have been encountering some issues with VLC particularly when seeking audio and such soI'll be grateful for anything that works.
Thanks.
Hi all I updated to Ventura 13.5.1 yesterday and noticed that when quicknav is turned on and I search on Google and then press h to navigate by heading Voiceover gets stuck at the first heading which has a link. Has anyone else experienced this? I want to log a bug with Apple however I want to make sure it's not just me before logging a bug.

Hi everyone
I might be considering buying a Mac Air. Before I do this, I have the following questions related to navigating between headings in documents with VoiceOver:
1. Can I make a document in Word for Mac, after that format the document with headings (on Windows you can press ALT+Shift+left arrow to do that), and after that navigate between headings with VoiceOver?
On Windows you can activate the quick navigating keys in JAWS, and after that use the letter H to navigate between headings in Word-documents, on webpages etc.
