Hi all,

I mostly have been using Pages on my Mac but would like to be able to use Word too. I know you can convert files between the two, but would honestly like to avoid the hassle if possible.

I don't use VoiceOver for context, just magnification. However, I do use Typing Feedback, which works great across all of macOS other than Word. Any idea if this is fixable or whether it is a known issue? It feels like such a minor thing that I don't want it to be the reason I have to keep converting between Pages and Word but I also find typing feedback really helpful.

I'm looking for a mud client that I can use on my mack. I play a game called, Meriani currently on my Windows xp machine and I am trying to slowly transfer things over to the Mack and get used to them. Any help would be appreciated.

Just a quick question, how do I move between 2 different documents in pages? I can only have one open at a time. But need to view one and use it as a guide to complete a form also in pages, but the form is a separate document.

Hi all. I ran into a stubborn control on a web page. I'll describe it here in the hopes that someone might have an accessible strategy.

The control lists several fiction genres. Sighted users can select multiple genre items by Command-clicking them.

I can easily select one genre item using my up and down arrow keys. The item I arrow to becomes the selected item. Also, I can select multiple contiguous items with Command+up or down, but I want a non-contiguous selection.

Is it possible to have 2 websites open at once in Safari?

1. Please if anyone can provide instructions on how to select text in several places in a document. For example, in a twenty-line document, how to select lines 1 and 10?

2. How to select and copy text from Safari? It is so frustrating using the arrows with shift and occasionally the options key.

I'm looking for an accessible multitrack editor. I use Audacity for most of my basic editing needs, but now find myself in the market for something that can record and mix a multitrack. I'm aware of Amadeus, ProTools, and Logic. Are there other options that I'm not aware of? Does anyone have any recommendations among these apps, from an accessibility standpoint? What about the price difference? Also, do any of these apps have free trial periods so I could test them out and see if they fit my needs?

Hello everyone.
I am not sure if I am calling it correctly in English, but I am trying to murge 2 cells in the pages table using VoiceOver on mac.
The question is how do i select the cells for murging?
When I press option+shift+left/right arrows I get the new cell next to the current one. And the murge cells option in the context menu of the table isn't available for accessing.
How should I murge, connect cells of table in pages text editor with VoiceOver? I am using macbook air 2017 with macOS Catalina installed...

Hey guys. Just wondering if anyone has had any luck running mush z client on Mac without a virtual machine. Maybe with Wine or something like that? Mush z client is of Course for running Muds. CHeers

Since upgrading to Monterey, the Music app is very buggy. I believe it is a focus issue. I have a lot of music and I usually view my library in Songs mode using the column browser. I use VO J to jump from the sidebar to the browser and to the Table of songs. However, frequently, I am placed in a scroll area and, when I interact, I seem to be placed in a grid that is difficult to navigate with VO. It seems that the VO curser and keyboard cursor stop syncing. This happens frequently, but not all of the time.

I've got a frustrating issue after upgrading to Big Sur and am wondering if others are experiencing the same thing.
I am aware of the VO bug with navigating the sidebar in Music, but there are times when all of the window elements become invisible to VO and I can only move between the window controls: Close, Zoom and Minimize. The only way around this is to close and reopen the app.

Any guidance or workarounds appreciated.

i'm running macOS Catalina. I'm liking it so far, but I had a question regarding the music app. If you go to the bottom of the screen, voiceover will read, there's no activity to display. What is this? And is there any way to turn it off? Thanks
