I seem to have accidentally changed how VoiceOver interacts with the menu bar, and I can't get it back to the normal behaviour.
Instead of VO-M taking me to the menu bar, it goes directly to the Apple menu. The menas that pressing 'E' for Edit or 'F' for File no longer works. Using VO-<UP> will take me to the menu bar, but moving to the right opens up each menu, and I have to again do VO-<UP> to get back to the menu bar.
Hello to all, I got my new MacBook Pro with touch bar, 512 gb hard disk, 8 gb ram memory and intel core I 5 processor. I have dificalts with the touch bar, I looking for way to setting up to use the function keys and I don't find related setting could be possible to get more info about this option? the computer it's very fast and the responses of VoiceOver i is fine. After updating my Mac to macOS 26.5, I started experiencing a couple of problems with VoiceOver.
The first issue happens when my Mac is completely shut down and I turn it on. I have VoiceOver enabled on the login screen, so it starts automatically when the password screen appears. However, as soon as VoiceOver starts with the default voice, it says “Speech muted” and then becomes completely silent. I’ve tried restarting the Mac several times, and the same thing happens every time. No matter what I do, I can’t get VoiceOver to speak again at that point.
Hi, has anyone experienced a problem where Pages refuses to save documents? If I close the document with command W, the save as dialog opens and I can save it in the usual way, but when I click save, the document reappears in Voiceover focus without saving. If I am working on an existing document and try to close it, which should automatically save, Voiceover acknowledges, "Close," but nothing happens and the updated version is not saved. The same thing happens when I press command S to save without closing. Voiceover says save, but the document is not saved.

I purchased and installed Parallels Desktop on my M2 Macbook Air, with a Windows11 virtual machine set up. I've been trying to connect my braille Display to the VM but have had no luck, nvda can't seem to detect the devices. I've tried everything I know, tweaking the options in the Parallels settings, reinstalling my braille display drivers, as well as connecting the device to my Macbook via both bluetooth and USb, but non of them works.

I've been having a lot of trouble with Radium lately. I can't get any radio stations to ring. I tried to uninstall the application completely and downloaded it again but it doesn't work.
Do you know any other apps that are accessible for listening to the radio on the Mac? I get the impression that Radium is abandoned.

Have you ever had a problem with Safari where you couldn’t view the files currently being downloaded in the Downloads window—meaning after pressing the shortcut Cmd + Opt + L? I want to clarify that this is definitely not an issue with the shortcut itself, because when I do the same thing via Safari’s menu, nothing happens either.

I'm particularly interested to know how to select multiple cells in Numbers, because it is essential to be able to work with spreadsheets for a class I'm attending. There are only mouse shortcuts, as I have read, and I don't know how to replace shortcuts on Mac (even if I followed the instructions I've read on Apple support). Can someone tell me another way to select multiple cells? Or can you offer me a clearer explanation for replacing shortcuts?

I purchased the Mac version of "System Fault" through the itch.io website 6 months ago, but in the past 2 months, I have experienced a number of issues. The app will update through the itch.io website, but the game has not launched for me since late April. I wrote to itch.io support at that time, but received no response.

Hi all! I am trying to update my macbook air 2018 from macOs mojave to macOs catalina. The update downloads without any issues but than the error displays and it says that it is impossible to define the version of macOs catalina and i have to start downloading the update again. Hi everyone. A software update was just installed on my Mac, but I can't find where to see what it was. I went to Software Updates, but was just presented with a "Back" button which was dimmed. Sometimes when I go there I can view the latest updates.
So earlier today I attempted to get windows 10 going on a virtual machine, as this pandemic has got me missing gaming a bit, lol, and I have no pc at the moment.
Anyways, I grabbed all the necessary files, Vmware, product key, windows iso file etc. I did the standard create virtual machine dialogue using the easy installer thing. I tried several times, around 4 or 5, however I had to trash all my machines.

I am running into an issue with VoiceOver and the new safari 14. It seems to be some kind of focus issue. Here is a list of steps to what I am seeing.
1. Navigate to any webpage.
2. Move to a heading either using quick nav or rotor.
3. Next try to navigate using just the up and down arrows.
As soon as I start using the arrow keys focus jumps back to the top rather than navigating the page by line like it should. This happens on any webpage I go to. Is anyone else seeing this?
Hello. I've been having this issue with Voiceover where when using the VO keys and the arrow keys to navigate, it automatically switches me to the dashboard where all the widgets are. Can someone please help? Has anyone else been having the same issue? I have contacted Apple about this. I've also restarted Voiceover and my computer as well.
