Below is the text of a message I just sent to Apple Accessibility. The fix was easy, but I shouldn't have needed sighted help to know about the problem.

Hi.
I'm trying to copy files from my Mac to iPad Pro using the finder window in Catalina.
Note, this isn't syncing the iPad, it's using the "files" section to move items across to app folders within the iPad.
Obviously before Catalina I had to use iTunes to move files across and this was done by selecting the items I wanted to copy in a finder window, using Command-C to copy and then Command-V to paste into the table within iTunes.
Now, it seems like copy and paste doesn't work any more when using the finder to manage the iPad.

I don't know if this is the right place to put this, but I'm having trouble getting my vertual machine to boot in vmware 9. Apparently it comes up with the device mapping table, telling me to press escape for 1 second to skip startup or any other key to continue. Nothing works. The apple logo comes up but then that same screen comes back. Thoughts?

Hi friends, I hope you're doing well. I'm facing a few small issues. For example, when there's a link somewhere—like if someone sends me a link on WhatsApp—I can't click on it to open it. And when there are multiple links in a message, I don’t know how to open them at all. Please guide me.
Also, I haven’t been able to find many tutorials on this site. If possible, please share a link to them. I don’t even know how to do basic things like copy and paste.

I'm experiencing a strange issue that's even hard to describe. I'm a Persian speaker, and since Apple's built-in Persian voice called Dariush can't pronounce English words properly, I installed a third-party voice engine from the App Store called Speak NG, which you might be familiar with. I've currently set it as my active voice engine because it reads both Persian and English very well.

Hello,
I am new to digital signatures and I've just created my signature and intended to insert it in a Word document. I opened the document in Preview and I pressed enter on my signature, but nothing happened. When I asked a sighted person to click it, she wasn't able to insert it, either. Can anyone please explain me how to solve this problem? Thank you.

Hi All. I'm having some trouble installing Google Drive on my MacBook Pro running Mac OS 10.12.3
I have gone to Google and downloaded the file. I have a file in my Downloads folder called "InstallGoogleDrive.DMG". Normally you would open the DMG folder and find the app, which you can then move to the Applications folder. However in this case that's not working. Nothing happens when I VO+Space on the DMG, and even opening the context menu doesn't give me an Open option.
Any thoughts?

I'm having a problem navigating between my documents pages in "iWork pages", the VoiceOver cursor just keep stuck between 2 pages and I can't advance any furter, changing the grouping behavior to ignore the groups in the VoiceOver utility seems to fix this, but with that, the navigation is more complicated, this problem is a bug in iWork Pages or something?

Hello everyone,
I do not experience this issue on my Mac Book Pro, but on my desktop, I keep running into a problem when navigating folders. I find that I can not consistently arrow through files, I turn on and off quick nav, sometimes I can only navigate the folders with quick nav on, and sometimes I can only tab through the different folders.
Any thoughts would be nice. I want to be able to simply arrow through the content of folders.

Hi Everyone,
Voice Over voices subtitles on Netfliks but I think I changed any settings and VoiceOver does not currently speak subtitles. We have closed and watched VoiceOver to watch a movie someone who saw. When I turned on VoiceOver again, I never heard speaking. Wich settings should I check for this? What are the methods you will propose?

Hello, I am having a hard time searching my media library in iTunes using snow leopard. when I do a search,using command option F, it will only let me typing one letter. I am a new user, so I very well may be doing something wrong. but I type in one letter,and it sayssomething like showing content starting with for example a. it will not let me if anybody has any ideas, that would be great.

Hi All,
I am having difficulty selecting the types of metadata I would like to appear in the list view of iTunes 12.
I have chosen to view my music in a list, and I would like to add the Album Title to the categories of metadata displayed, but I am unable to do so.
Does anyone have any ideas regarding changing the headings displayed while in the list view?
I am able to access the column browser, but this isn't what I would like to use, and I can't find anything useful in View Options.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone. I'm also asking this elsewhere in case I don't receive a response here. It has recently come to my attention that I cannot send messages using the Messages app on my mid-2013 MacBook Air. I can only receive them. I know this because just this week I asked my neighbor across the hall to try and send me something. He did, and I was notified of it yesterday when I returned from a work-related outing. I asked a friend and coworker if I could try sending him a message, and I did that just this morning.

Hi all. When on Youtube, I can't click the share menu and share to twitter. I get: "Can not send tweet, inserting text of the tweet, because the connection has failed." Has anyone else seen this? Using the latest Mac os beta, in case the stable release works. i thought they broke this? Thanks for the help.

Yesterday I was trying to activate the second factor authentication in one of my gmail accounts. To be able to use the account in the mail app of my Mac , I needed to create what they call an app password which is specific to an app. For this process I was required to select the app name in a table that was shown in the settings page of gmail. The problem was that I wasn't able to move into the table using VoiceOver. I asked for sighted assistance, and my son told me that the table was there, but that VO was jumping over it.

At work I have a 2011 iMac running the latest version of Yosemite. I am having an odd and annoying issue when trying to select a contiguous or sequential list of files. If I use shift-up arrow to select a list of files I am able to select them with no problems. If I use shift-down arrow I hear VoiceOver say "help menu" and the help menu from the menu bar opens up. This happens whether quick nav is turned on or off. Does anybody have a clue as to why this is happening?
