One thing I love about using a Mac and a iPhone is universal clipboard. That is, I love it when it works, which is not much of the time. I can copy a block of text on one device and, usually, it won’t be present on the clipboard of the other device. Sometimes, it will work after trying a few times. I have read that it can help if you sign out of and back into iCloud on your Mac and iPhone. I have done that but it only fixes the problem for a day or so.

After installing windows on my mac with vmware fusion, and installing NVDA, things are working great, except, some commands, such as the, windows m to go back to desktop, my windows keys are command keys on mac, when i press command, or windows m to go back to desktop, instead of performing that command, the window minimizes. Also, i don't know how to do insert key on windows, i mean which is the mac equivalent of it? thanks for any help

Hello all,
I am using a M1 Mac running Sequoia 15.1.1. I am trying to get VOCR to run and I cannot get it running. I had an earlier version of VOCR and I uninstalled it so I could install the new version. I downloaded the new version and when I try and run it nothing happens. It does not appear in the menus extra like it should. I even removed the old entries in the accessibility and screen recording sections. I do have the box checked to allow voiceover to be controlled by apple script. What else can I try to do to get VOCR working?

Thanks,
Greg Wocher

Hey everyone.

So, yesturday was the day when I received my package with my MacBook Air. I have the ability to test the thing for about a month to see if I can get used to Mac and the difference from windows.

setting up the machine was quite doable and I did set up a few of my programs already, namely office 365 and whatsapp for Mac, and so far, everything is workking as it should.

i do run into some problems regarding missing commands and the web navigation though.

Hi. I would like music producers to give me recommendations on producing music on Windows or Mac, since I have read so many discussions about Windows and Mac, and they all agree that if you are a musician, it is best to use Mac, but they do not give more details. So in my case I use Reaper, and it is really very accessible on Windows, but the latency (even with audio interfaces) is usually almost unbearable, especially in MIDI recordings, and it is possible that this simply does not exist on Mac. Another thing is the accessibility of the plugins, for example Kontakt.

Hello dear Forum,

I am new to MacOS and interested in your oppinion.
I try to get used to macos, but feel a little bit disabled.

I am a Microsoft Office power user. On Windows, I am able to navigate in text like in a web page, if the text has been formated correctly before, of course. I can't do this on MacOS. But this is a basic task. In fact, Text Editing on Macs is just typing and reading like in a Text editor. Or is this because I am a beginner?

Hello folks, Despite my best efforts I have not been able to find programs that will allow me to be as productive on the Mac as I am with Microsoft Office on Windows. I tried using Bootcamp but I was not able to get past the install process. I was informed that I had to reformat my drive because Windows was not compatible. Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated. At this point I am considering buying a cheap netbook for Microsoft Office. However, I would much rather run Windows with Bootcamp if possible.

Luckally I have a windows desktop at school so I am fortinute for that. But what if I need to write an essay and am not at school? What is the best thing to do?
Thank you

Hello all,
Are there any email lists for asking questions about programming on the Mac? I have programmed in C#, ASP.net and Java on the windows side. I have also used Oracles SQL express to create databases. I am wanting to get into Mac programming since I now have a Macbook Air. Thanks for any help.

Hello everyone. I have noticed that, when downloading various things, the progress bars are not announced at all. I have these set to "Tone" in the VoiceOver Utility on my Mid-2013 MBA, but still nothing. I got the same result when I set it to speak as well. When downloading podcast episodes to listen to, iTunes automatically opens up after a few minutes but aren't other progress bars supposed to be announced? This has particularly been an issue for me within the last couple of days, since I just started downloading material again from the BARD website.

Hello all.
I just tried Safari with Amazon.in (Me being from India ).
I am surprised that it has become very accessible.
I can navigate the lists of searchable items very comfortabally. Even placing order is fine. I am very sure I wasn't able to do this before, or I was doing something wrong. Just thought of reporting this and getting some inputs.
I will also try with chrome to see what's the case.

Is there any accessible MAC app that is similar to Microsoft Project that works with VO? I need it for a system design project I was assigned to earlier last week.
