Hello everyone. Subject line pretty much sums it up. I'm a bit confused on how to set up the midi playback on my Mac Book Air. Furthermore, it seems that the only midi file that I can get to play is the song at http://www.redwhiteandblue.org . I went into the Midi Setup, but can't figure out what settings to choose. Any help greatly appreciated.

I have a macbook m1 and am trying to setup a windows vm with nvda. I have my first vm running but have difficulty navigating parallels I am also happy to do things via command lines. Can you share your tips to get a stable vm that works well with narrator/nvda? I am thinking for example about the passing through of keys and stable focus within the vm.

Hi.
it's time to write what I love and what I *hate* about macOS.
1. VoiceOver doesn't support queuing making the terminal experience or even games experience pain in the but., it's only thing that I hate.
2. VoiceOver is really good if comes to different ways of navigation.
3. macOS is unix like os, so we can use bash and similar.
4. my Mac is snappy and doesn't lag, and has my favourite voice for free.

So, my Mac OS switch from Windows 10 is still going strong: I'm amazed at how easy the OS has been to learn and use. I do have a couple of questions though, which I hope you can help me with.
How do I jump to the top of a page, and to the bottom of a page? For example, on a webpage, how do I jump to the top of the webpage? How about in a Pages document -- how do I jump to the beginning of the body of text?
In Pages, or any word processor, is there a VO command to jump the cursor to the beginning or end of the current line?

So it looks like I'm going to be in a situation where I will have to run both Mac OS and windows. I have played with VMWare a little bit but it's been a couple of years now. I have a few questions about it that I'm hoping you can answer and thank you in advance.
First, when I used VMWare before I had trouble designating a JAWS or NVDA key. How do I do this on a laptop? If i'm unable to do this it would make the whole experience rather difficult and uncomfortable.

I just added Twitter to my Mac's notification center. Now VoiceOver is recognizing the "share buttons" in the notifications table as one itim. This means that I can not click on either button. So, I cannot post to Facebook or Twitter from my Mac. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance for your help.

Not sure if this is the right place for this topic, so feel free to move if need be. I have a 512 gb ssd, divided in three parts, mac os, bootcamp, and shared storage for files I want to access on both operating systems. In Mac OS, the partition is just fine. In Windows, it loses its drive letter after every reboot, and I have to go in to Windows Disk manager and reassign the drive letter. Is it the end of the world? No, but it is very annoying, and an extra step I have to take every single time after booting back in to Windows. Any idea why this is going on?

I need to share some information from activity monitor with a tech support team, I know I can do this with a screenshot but because I have limited use of my left hand I find the process difficult. Is there any other way to share information from activity monitor like for example a session log apart from using a screenshot? so, i can call him via facetime on my Mobile, and he can listen, but the sound will not be very clear.
but, what about sharing audio from logic to facetime immediately? is it possi9ble? and if yes, how please?

Hi everyone,
I have an issue on my mac; I'm not a experienced user of mac as I got my first macbook air 2 months ago and I'm in the learning curve.
The problem is that I can share the audio of my mac while sharing the screen in skype; no matter if I'm using the app on macOS Catalina or in my bookcamp partition in Windows 10, while using this mac, my caller is not able to hear anything from my devise.
I have been always a pc user and this never happens with a pc.
Any solutions?

Dear Users,
I've been trying to find a solution lately to the thing how to share content from my dropbox folder. I succesfully installed the DropBox client on my Mac. After signing in and synchronizing, I cannot find any possibility how to share my content with others. In Windows, using Explorer when a specific file was selected, from the context menu I could choose "Copy public link". After this, the link of my content was copyed to the cipboard. Pasting it to an e-mail was extremely simple.

Hi everyone, i have a question I’m hoping someone might be able to help me with?
I am trying to email someone a photo from the native photos on my mac using the share button in the toolbar, however, when i press go space or just space by itself to activate it won’t respond—as far as i can tell. I am new to using a MacBook, so don’t know if this is a bug or if there’s another command I’m missing somewhere?
I would be most grateful to anyone who could help, as this is quite an important photo document I’m trying to send and i don’t have sighted assistance.

Good evening all,
In my job as a software architect, our team at work have moved to MacBook Pros to perform our coding, testing and documentation.
On the whole I have found the migration from Windows a massively positive experience - compiling code and running tests on Mac is lightning quick compared to Windows and the whole Linux based stack combined with things like VS Code, Git, maven and Docker etc is very accessible (and I must say I don’t have half as many gripes about Terminal as people seem to have from reading this forum for a while).

I find shopping on Amazon an unpleasant experience using Safari and VO. Can you give me any advice, tips, suggestions etc. to make it easy? Is the shopping experience better using the Amazon app on iOS? With a BT keyboard?
I hear they have an alternative accessible website. How good is that and what is the URL?
