hi all,
I have a question regarding the MS office 2016. I notice that with each update, it becomes more sluggish. for instance I'm working now on a 40-page word file and voiceover keeps saying "word busy" and it's very sluggish. is anyone else encountering that? or maybe because my Mac has become old? I have a MacBook Air 2014.

I've done everything to set up my iPhone 6 Plus and my 2014 Mac Mini, both running the latest version of their respective operating systems, to enable handoff and SMS messaging as described and detailed in the article at http://www.igeeksblog.com/setup-handoff-on-mac-os-x-yosemite-and-iphone-ipad-on-ios-8 - I do know that I have to have the phone on, which it is, in order to send SMS messages. I have a macbook 2 running 10.6.8. My job requires that I use tables and be able to make basic spread sheets using autosum. I have tried to download IWork, but am told that my computer will not support it. Is there any work around for this other than to buy a new computer?

i have a question and really need to know whats the diferences and features between the 3 OS mentiones above.
just came out couple days ago Mountain lion, and I don't know a lot about this, just bought a MacBook that is running on Snow leopard, and it has all the text specs requires to update it until Mountain Lion.
Please Help I want hear all kind of recomendations before doing it.

Now the app store application appears with every component dimmed and with no html area. I can't no longer install or update anything. Do you folks jknow what is happening?

OK so I am new to digital audio work stations but am a musician, and having owned a Mac for just about a year now I think that moving to a DAW is going to be the best path for recording music. My recordings would consist of live audio, basically a Documentation of what is going on in the room. I would be recording acoustic and electric guitars, (that electric guitar would of course include effects processors as well) drums, vocals, acoustic piano, etc.& basically no software instruments.

Guys, I’ve never felt this uncomfortable using WhatsApp. If I’m in a conversation with only a few messages, VO generally works fine. But otherwise it’s terrible. I have custom hotspots for the chat list and messages list, and they work most of the time, but VoiceOver jumps out of the messages table too often, especially when I'm writing a message. Every time it stops interacting with the messages table, it doesn’t remember where it was, so when I interact again, I have to jump to the end to find where I left off.

I know Instagram is more meant to be used on the phone, but when the MacBook is closer to me then the phone, I would prefer to use what's closer to me.
But oh my God, Instagram on the web, especially on macOS, is absolutely awful! I can't go through my messages properly. If I want to go to the next IG message, in a conversation, I have to react to the previous message so I can go to the next message or it won't let me properly go to the next message and will take me to the text Field
Does anybody know how to fix this? If so, that would be brilliant

I have acquired some blu-ray discs but need a blu-ray player which I am looking into. Will blu-ray discs play on my 2021 M1 Macbook air without any additional apps, or do I need a third party app and if so, what are some accessible options please?

I'm quite new to the world of Mac and OSX so sorry if this is a noob question.
I have a iMac but also still use a Windows PC and laptop running Win7. Before I had the Mac I used to use a small app called Sync Toy to sync files between my PC, external HDD and laptop.
Every month or so I would sync my entire iTunes folder on the PC to the HDD then sync the newly updated iTunes folder on the HDD to my laptop. This served as backup but also allowed me to have a exact replica of my iTunes on both the Mac and PC, down to playlists etc.

As we all know the pdf situation on mac is an embarrassment. Specifically preview does not give us access to the accessibility benefits of tagged pdf files. As I see it there are two essential accessibility features that have been thought to be missing on the mac, namely headings and fillable form fields. However, I believe I have found a solution to both of these issues.
First of all headings.
There is a free app called skim which allows one access to headings on properly tagged pdf files.

I think I've found a problem with speech central on mac. Whenever I launch the app, I don't get anything. Like, I just get, speech central has no windows, and i'm unable to do anything in the app. Opening documents, trying to import documents, trying to d'o stuff from the menu bar, nothing works. I'm running the latest version of mac os ventura, by the way. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my mac... but nothing seems to solve this. Is this a bug I mean it used to work fine when I first got it, is anyone else experiencing this?

hi all I hope your all well. I have a 5gen iPod touch I'm running iTunes on Mac os10. every time I sink my iPod using iTunes for some reason it does not sink some tracks to my albums I lot of my albums have 1 or 2 tracks missing on my iPod because iTunes is not sinking them. Does any one know why this is happening and how to solve this problem?
