This question may have been asked before in one way or another. i received a new MacBook Pro for Christmas and have just started working with it. I've noticed that when in Text Edit, you can read using the arrow keys by line or even by paragraph, but I was wondering if you can read continuously from where you are in a document until the end or you press the Control key to stop.

If I go to the Mac status menu with VO+M twice quickly and arrow through the items, I hear VoiceOver announce one of the items as, "Control Center, Screen Recording is in use." This seems wrong. It should simply announce, "Control center." So I dug in, hoping to disable the message about screen recording.

Hello all. I’m reaching out to the applevis community to inquire about any accessible methods Of using some sort of auto-tune plugin or something similar to enable3 me to use my keyboard to manipulate the pitch of my voice. Rather, enabling me to use my keyboard to create harmonies and such. I’ve been scouring the internet and can’t seem to figure out a solution which works with logic pro x and is easily attainable. Hope somebody can help with this. I'm wondering how to collapse a conversation in the mail app. I've worked out that, in the messages table, pressing VO space will expand the conversation, so I can see a list of messages in that thread, but can't work out how to collapse it again. help appreciated.

I want to convert text to audio file (AIFF, MP3, either), but as my OS X and Voice Over is in Brazilian Portuguese, I need to perform some speach corrections.
I meke this conversio by system options with iTunes, or use 3rd party apps. But my corrections in speach dictionary is just for VoiceOver.
I heard from a friend, that is possible to use VoiceOver to make this audio, but I googled and not was fond.
Some one can halp?

Hi there, hoping someone might be able to help me out please. So i have some documents that were produced using microsoft word (docx files) back when i was using windows. I want to convert these so i can access them using pages (which is now definitely my preferred choice of word processing application). How would i go about doing this please? Is there a way to convert an iBook to another format for reading? I am trying out the Coda2 application and they have an iBook for the apps documentation. iBooks on the Mac and on iOS is not the easiest to use to navigate thru books.

Hi all,
I did a screen recording using QuickTime on my Mac, which resulted in a large .mov file.
I want to convert this to .m4v or whatever smaller file type. I attempted this using VLC Media Player, selecting the default option of “H264 + mp3 / mp4”.
However the resulting file has video but no sound. I tried again, this time selecting the Customise button first, and audio does appear to be checked, but got the same result.

Hello everyone.
I really need help with this because I'm at a complete loss; let me explain. I airdropped a video from my phone to my Mac so I could mess around with iMovie. When I tried opening it in iMovie, I found out that .mov is no longer compatible and that I need to convert the video. So I consulted this guide by Apple on how to convert a video in Quicktime:

Hello folks,
I have recently begun using vmware fusion on my mac allowing me to use windows 7 applications such as Microsoft word. I am lead to believe it is possible to copy and paste from one system to the other mac to window and the reverse but to date have not been successful. Are there any tips I should know about?
