Not that I really have a need to install it, but I'm just curious. The last I knew, Firefox on the mac was pretty much a total joke. I remember for the longest time, anything you tried doing on the mac side of things with Voiceover, it would continuously give the dreadful busy busy busy message.
Well guys, its that time again. Apple has released the latest version of their desktop OS and I've installed it on my primary machine (the one that I use for work and play).
Wise idea, nope! Was there any talking me out of doing it? Absolutely not. With that said, let's go.

I have a friend that is using the Skype ap on her Mack and we've come across a curious thing. In the contacts after getting to them, she is able to press a letter for each contact. Depending on what contact she's looking for. However, when I try to do this, it doesn't work for me. I don't want to uninstall and then reinstall the ap for this to work. Is their something I need to turn on in VoiceOver so that this works? Her's just works automatically while mine just bings at me.
Any help would be appreciated.

AM not using my disctop alot, so, do not know if this problem is an old one or what, but
I start using it now, and i found that when i use first letter navigation to go to an item or a short cut, it is not working, do not know, if i should do extra thing inside the view options or what, but it is not always working specially with SHortcuts.

Hi all. Well i went to reapir my disk this morning, thanks from someone who answered my flash player question. It got nearly to the end, then said back up all files, reformat then restore. I know the formatting is easy enough, any tips tricks would help. I suspect a lot of this has to do that I was one of the beta sign ups when Yosemite was in developement. Anyway any advice would be helpful. thanks.
Hi everyone, I'm chasing my tail here, can someone please point me in the right direction for some useful guides and or podcast which clearly outline how to use iTunes on the mac, I'd like to learn how to access particular songs and play them, and I have no idea how to sink to my iPhone, for example I'd like to delete all the music and start all over again with the musical content on my phone. Any help would be appreciated. I thought using iTunes on the mac would be appreciated.
If you use Safari on a Mac, you have probably encountered web pages that cause VoiceOver to repeatedly say "90% loaded, 90% loaded, 90% loaded". Pretty annoying, huh? I tolerated this behavior for some time, but when the New York Times web page started to do this recently, I decided to finally find a fix. Here it is, hoping it helps others.
Open VoiceOver utility with VO+F8. Arrow down the topic list until you get to Web. Select the Page Loading tab. Find the control labeled When A Web Page Loads. Change the combo box to Do Nothing.

On facebook web, when using the J and K hotkeys to navigate between stories in news feed, VoiceOver would not auto-read them when in DOM mode. I just wanted to let people know that switching web navigation to group mode fixes this, in case anyone else has run into the same problem and wanted it solved

Lately, Pages has decided to display a warning message, "the document could not be autosaved," and it happens anytime I press Command+N and start entering text in a new blank document. It also happens anytime I open an MS Word .docx file and make changes. When the message window appears, sometimes it can be dismissed with a simple Escape press. Other times, it's not dismissed so easily, and it takes me some time to place VoiceOver focus back in the document edit area.
The message does not occur while editing a native Pages format document.

i have a series of Arabic lessons on CD from Pimsleur language learning. It is over Arabic, and I've been importing a few CDs onto my iTunes. The first CD it could not find the tracks, and the second CD was read as Hebrew. Then the third CD was correct. Is there any possibility to fix this? If so, How? What do I need to do to correct the songs?

I've absolutely no idea what this option means but as a lot of people on here have complained about it I thought I'd post it. I've enabled it and my Mac hasn't turned into a mushroom cloud yet.

Is here anyone using Windows XP on VMware Fusion 11?
The sound is very scratchi there so the NVDA sounds very distorted. I tried both solutions mentioned on the internet. The SetTimerService command line tool and the VMAudioFixTray application which was recommended to install. Nothing helped. Does anyone know what else could be done? Maybe reinstalling the driver of the virtual windows xp device? I tried out a driver on the net but then distortion become even worse.

Recently, I made a new virtual machine running Windows 10. I've previously followed Bryan Smart's guide on fixing VMware Fusion sound latency issues, but those instructions don't seem to apply to VM's running Windows 10. Have you guys found any solutions to reduce audio latency?

As the flare star game was on sale, I decided to purchase it. But I don't get the game. You have to get your uniform but when I go to the south west as it says in the walk trough, it says access denied, and in all other directions I can't move. I tried it for several times, but it doesn't work. What do I do wrong? I'm on osx 10.10 on a Mac book pro 2012.
