I have a MacBook pro. Can I use the flash drive I use for my windows pc on my Mac? Where is the list of drives on a mac so I can open the flash drive? How do I safely remove the flash drive if the command e does not work? Thank you.

Hello all. I was about to play a clip on youtube, except the flash doesn't seem to want to work. I've checked and I think i have the latest version of everything. It suddenly started doing this. Has anyone else has this? Using mountain lion, latest updates and a Macbook pro. Unless I just wait a day and it fixes itself. ;)

Hi, just set up my blue-tooth keyboard with my Mac mini.
I've been trying to figure out how to disable the fn keys check box thing.
I'm in System Preferences, under the keyboard tab.
I can find no check box about disabling said key any where.
I'm using the latest version of the OS.
Anyone have any ideas?

Hello all,
I just recently got a MacBook Pro and have been enjoying the new experience. I am, however, attempting to use a Focus 40 (or focus 40 Blue - I'm not exactly sure which one it is) with VoiceOver with minimal success. My issues are as follows:
1. When I plug it in via USB to the Mac, I am able to control VoiceOver with it utilizing the controls on the display unit but no Braille is showing up on the display itself.

It just started happening. I had built up to almost 150 emails in my inbox, and I finally started going through them, keeping some where they were, and deleting or moving the rest into different mailboxes, only every time I did so, right after my command got carried out, focus would jump to the beginning or end of the inbox forcing me to arrow arrow arrow back to where I left off.
Does anyone have a guess how I can fix this? Seriously, yesterday it was working just fine. I am using a Mac Studio M1 ultra running the latest version of Sequoia.

Hi all,
Maybe this is a bug in VoiceOver.
When I interact with text through VO+ Shift Down and try to navigate by character or word, it's like VoiceOver focus tends to jump to the top and navigate whatever that element is.
Very frustrating. Is there a fix?

in an iMessage thread, if someone has focus enabled and sharing focus status, i can see something like "al capone has notification silenced", but i can't see this on the mac.
i took a screenshot of the mac and did some character recognition, i couldn't see the focus status, either. so is this true if people share their focus status, you can only see it on iphone and not on mac?

Hello there I have a friend who is using a mac.
She has just created a folder and for some reason the folder won't open at all.
We checked to see if the folder was locked and the folder is not locked.
Now I am wondering how does she fix this issue?

Hi everyone. It has recently come to my attention that the issue with my external drive wasn't quite a hard-drive failure afaik, but the drive does need to be re-formatted. Actually now that I think about it, the thing might not have been formatted correctly when I got it in June of 2016. I didn't think to check back then or have anyone else do so, because I thought the thing would automatically detect which kind of computer I had. But that apparently wasn't the case. So my tutor is just going to try and do it himself tomorrow.

Is there a way to make the keyboard focus go to the vm directly, when you command tab into Fusion, without having to press alt tab like 5 or 6 times?

More and more I am not able to enter payment information to pay bills on line. Voice over tells me I am on a text field, but I can not enter information even if I enter act with the field. Is there something else I can try?

Hi there. As the subject line shows, i'm simplu wondering how i go about formatting an SD card using a Mac book air running the latest version of Mac OS please? I've never carried out this procedure before now? I assume, as with windows, this is possible? I'd really appreciate either some instruction how to do this, or alternatively if anyone could direct me to any already existing written or audio demos i can follow. Thank you in advance for any help.
