Hello all:
I need to find a good accessible app that i can use to Edit my Audio for my Videos.
My dream is to be able to edit my videos, but now, all i need is to deliver A good Sounded Video, with no noise etc.
So, how can i do that on mac?

As we know it, macOS's VoiceOver is a great tool, but not all applications can be simply read by it. Some software is not made up of standard macOS UI elements, so VoiceOver can't read any text from it. Therefore I made this app using OCR to identify texts on the screen and point your mouse to it.

I'm learning to code for IOS, so I recently upgraded my mac from snow leopard to mountain lion to be able to install xcode. After the annoying ordeal of getting it installed, I found that, while my boot camp is not destroyed, it is showing some significant quirks. Previously, almost immediately after loading windows I would hear NVDA's startup sound, but now there is a delay of about ten seconds, and NVDA takes a while longer to load after that.

Hi everyone,

Does anyone use KeePassXC on Mac, and if so, how's the accessibility with VoiceOver?
I'm currently on Windows using KeePass2 and am considering switching to Mac if I can find alternatives for the programs I use.
I'd appreciate any experiences you can share.

Hi, can anyone tell me what the function is called within Voiceover on MacOS where you can lock focus on a specific area of the screen to get continual updates whilst moving around the rest of the screen?

I'm sure I read something previously about being able to continually keep track and get spoken updates on a selected area without it stopping normal navigation.

Any info greatly received.

Hey all. Haven't been around these parts in quite some time, however, I have an interesting question for you all this evening.
Over the past couple of days I've been noticing that when I use Safari some of the key commands are no longer working.
For example: If I press command Q to quit the app absolutely nothing happens. If I attempt a command comma to access preferences again nothing happens. Same for command option L to view downloads.

I am looking for an accessible application that can combine several key commands and apple menu commands to one key command

Thanks

Hi folks.
Subject says it all.
When I first enabled this, I heard something about allowing access to system.
I said don't allow, so that's why I'm thinking why it's not working.
Is there anyway to change this to allow it to work?
I'm a new Mac user, so just slowly figuring things out.

Good Afternoon,
I hope this message finds you well.
I'm wondering if you could tell me how to do the following with VO on my Mac?
Quickly navigating to a specific day, week or month.
Once I type the title of the event into the search bar, how do I check the event details for that event?
If you could let me know, that would be brilliant.

Hi all,

I just have a few questions about keyboard commands for Numbers.

Firstly, is there a way to go to a cell? On Microsoft Excel (using Windows) it's Control + G.
How do I select columns, rows or both?

Thank you :)

Hi,
I'm so sorry for all the posts recently. When I tried to do a search for my question, I couldn't find what I needed. Maybe I'm just not good with tech.
I'm just wondering if someone could tell me how to turn my video on and off using V? It's probably really easy but I've never used Zoom on a mac before.
If you could let me know, that would b brilliant.
Thanks so much.

Hi all.

So I run into this problem occasionally, like right now, well just before I restarted anyway. Some key, possibly caps lock, gets stuck. I don't mean that it's literally physically stuck. I mean for instance that when I hit enter, Voiceover either says "selecting" or "stop selecting". cmd-f5 doesn't work to toggle VO on and off. Lots of things don't work.

I am looking for a keyboard shortcut when using Safari. I am using a Mac and the latest version of Yosemite. The problem I am having is that I need to use a web site frequently and in order to select OK, I need to adjust the size of the window I am using or the font size. When using this web site, a secondary window opens up that I need to check mark certain boxes. In this secondary window, the OK or Cancel buttons are at the very bottom and this window is not scrollable.

Hi, my friend Keith and I been working with the developer of the popular Mac application Keyboard Maestro to make it more accessible with VoiceOver. I’m pleased to report that the latest update includes a number of accessibility fixes, which now makes much of the application usable with VoiceOver.

Hi everyone,

I've decided to give keyboard maestro a serious look and I have some questions:

Post Date:

at different times while typing the keyboard seems to lose focus or partially inactive.I can not continue to type, use delete, enter or escape with any result. I can open menus to close some windows, but must do force quit. Using restart often returns normal keyboarding - as long as reopen windows is not checked. I think I am inadvertently tapping the trackpad while typing. Fairly sure this occurs only when speed typing in I messages, but all finder docs are affected the same.

Hello; I have a Macbook Air and remapped my caps lock key to simulate the vo keys quite some time ago, using the podcast on PC Keyboard Hack and another program. Both have been replaced by Seil and Karabiner. I updated to Yosemite and for a while I still got the vo key to work as before. However, now the caps lock key doesn't function. It does still say control and option when I check it with VO keyboard help, but nothing happens when I use it in conjunction with any other keys. Can anyone help? Is there a way to start over or is there anything else I can do.

If shortcuts only work in some places and not other such as command backspace how do you fix this.

Some quick background: I use the desktop version of Google Drive, which basically allows you to manage files locally via the finder. For me this is much easier than muddling around in the web version, and I would highly recommend anyone who has a bone to pick with G-suite to try it out. Anyway, I'm currently working on a project that requires me to copy and paste a ton of file links.

Hi there, all great gurus of the Mac World! I've been facing a problem for a while, and I kind of hoped that this issue has been fixed in Mavericks, since Apple promised to look into it, but nothing has changed... So maybe you great knowledgeful people have thought out a solution for this. The problem is that many standard keyboard shortcuts rely on a english keyboard layout, both VO shortcuts and global shortcuts throughout the OS. Very often I stumble upon shortcuts that e.g. uses the left and right brackets, [ ].
