Hi, I'm specifically addressing guitarists who are familiar with this pedal board.
A friend of mine, who lives in another city, would like to sell me a NUX MG30 pedal board, and I tried downloading the configuration software for Mac to see if it's accessible. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be accessible natively, and I used VOCR, which can read the software's startup screen, but it's not possible to see the other features because the software requires the pedal board to be physically connected to the Mac.

So I have a Windows VM, but I kind of feel like maybe it's overkill. So let's say I wanted to run MushClient to play Alter Aeon. Obviously, I'd need NVDA. Possibly a synthesizer as well, unless SAPI is already working.

I have an m1 MacBook Air coming in in a few days. Since it can't do bootcamp, I am just trying to figure out how I will do things on my windows desktop, which I use for my online radio station.
A few months ago, someone developed an app for iPhone that would let you interface with NVDA via the remote add-on. To do this with the iPhone, one needs a bluetooth keyboard.
Since M1 Macs can run many iPhone apps, I am curious as to if this one works or not. If it does, then I really wouldn't even need bootcamp.

I have a colleague wanting to do some user testing using NVDA. Obviously, they will need a Windows Virtual Machine. I've seen discussion on here about using Jaws on one, but not NVDA. Please let me know how to best assist them. Thanks!

Hi guys. It's been a year since I have been using my Mac and loving it. I tried to avoid Windows by getting used to Mac and finding software for it. But unfortunately I'll have to work with one financial ap which does not support Mac.
So the day when i have to install windows on my MacBook Pro has come. I'm intending to use Windows 7 via Bootcamp utility, and NVDA as my screen reader. As far as I know Bootcamp is accessible like all other Apple applications, so I'll need sighted assistance only for installing Windows itself.
But I don't know much about NVDA. How it works with Windows?

Hi, I am trying to use stream labs or OBS to stream so that my video is in the main screen and I am in the corner reacting to the video like people do on the YouTube, but I can’t seem to figure out how OBS worked for like a hot minute and then it crashed now every time I try to bring it up it says it’s not responding even if I uninstall it and reinstall it no matter what I do it crashes and it will not open on my Mac I hope they have anything on my Mac and I have a MacBook Air 2020 one of the ones with the silicone chip. I downloaded the right version and it just doesn’t work.

Is anyone familiar with the Ocenaudio app latest version on M1 Air? I specifically have trouble with doing the basic cutting audio file function; most buttons such as the play/pause and fast forward/rewind are all dimmed, even though the file is already opened to perform action. I'm wondering if this is the app accessibility, problem with its overall function, or some kind of bug.
Any information on this issue is appreciated.

This is my second post to AppleVis, and I strongly admit that I would never enjoy my newly bought Mac Air without the great deal of information about Apple devices and available accessibility.
I am a PhD student and lots of material have to be scanned with OCR. I was using Omnipage Pro on my previous Lenovo Windows machine, as well as using Kurzweil for light OCR recognitions.

Hey all.
So i was thinking about using PS4 remote play on my MacBook Air, but I am missing something.
Those of you who know windows 10 and NVDA know that when you hit NVDA plus R, you can OCR the current window with the help of the windows 10 OCR feature.
If I remember right, there once was a VO Ohr software on Mac, but I can't find it.
Can anyone point me in the right direction if that thing even exists? My mind might also be playing tricks on me, but I wanted to see if anyone knows anything.

I am looking for a OCR reader for use at work. My accessibility technology advocate recommended Fine Reader Pro by ABYY, but on the app store it only received a review of 2.5 stars. Does anyone use Fine Reader Pro or have a better recommendation? I am totally blind and am planning on using the software in conjunction with a scanner to perform administrative type duties.

I'm looking for a relatively simple way to scan multipage documents and perform OCR on them, using my Mac. I know this can be done with my iPhone but I've never gotten the hang of reliably being able to consistently get a good shot of the page and I have no interest in putting a lot of effort into it when I've got a decent flat bed scanner and a good Mac right here. I don't need to deal with large documents, generally no more than 3 or 4 pages, but I need accurate OCR and the ability to copy and paste the text elsewhere.

I've been looking into an issue on Mac. I thought it was a failure with paste, that's certainly what it looks like if you're a VoiceOver user. But the problem is actually with VoiceOver itself. And it doesn't happen all the time. But here's what I experience.

Do other users use google chrome on the mac?
I need to use chrome for some voluntary work and am wondering, why does voiceover keep telling me, chrome has new window every 30 seconds or so?
this makes using chrome or edge, for me at least impractical.
Any thoughts please?

It's joseph. Just a few days ago, I noticed something rather odd. Even though my search engine is set to google in the safari prefs, when I do a search, my results are being pulled from yahoo. Also I don't see a way to reset safari in any of the menus to fix this problem. Any suggestions?

Hi all i have just come back to the Mac after an absence and am now noticing under Mac osx hi-sierra that VO keys and space is not opening anything like an app I have to do the context menu command with VO shift m and select Open is this normal? very frustrating, is this a changed voiceover behaviour? thanks, Will
