Hello. Since upgrading to the newest Safari, I've been encountering "Safari busy" and busy and busy and busy and busy messages on innumerable Websites. I was hoping it was a temporary thing and would resolve itself, but it's not been getting better. At all.
Are others having this same problem? If so, does anyone have any suggestions for lessening it?
Hello:
My internet is working, and i can access the google website etc, but some sites Safari refuse to open them,
when i use Chrome to open, it is working ok, so what can cause this?
I delete my history, and everything should work as expected,
an example from sites that safari refuse to open is: http://accessmtech.com
Any help will be highly appreciated.
i have the latest Safari update, but sometimes, when i need to open some websites, safari did not open them, and i did not get any feedback, or any progress, even no error.
these are very soft sites, like www.flotools.org
what i mean is that it does not contain any flash or something,
SOmetimes i thought that i have lost internet connection,
i treid opening google or applevis, and it is working fine.
I clear my history, and still the same.
so, what can i do to solve this issue?
For the past several days, I've noticed that Safari's down arrow behavior has changed.
When I read a web page, I typically use VO+right arrow to read each paragraph (or web page element). If the paragraph contains complex material, I have always used up or down arrow keys to read through the current paragraph one line at a time.
Hi all. I'm running a beta of Mac OS but that shouldn't be a huge deal. I get this Ask you, you ned click allow to confirm not a robot or some such thing. Nothing in notifications and I want it gone. clean my Mac X doesn't do the job, try to get spy hunter but it wouldn't install after I accepted the terms and ULA. Does anyone have an accessible program, hopefully free or very cheap, to get this over with? I've googled until my hands are dead. thanks. also, if i've posted this before, sorry but I didn't even search before posting. Help me. :)
Be forewarned, this may be stupidity on my part. However, for the life of me I can't seem to use Safari browsing history correctly. I know Command Y brings it up. But I can't seem to open a page from it, either from the website title column or the address column. They both appear as editable text boxes. Return does nothing, VO Spacebar just says "confirm", tabbing doesn't help, Command O tries to open it as a file instead of a webpage.
I updated to the latest versions of Yosemite and Safari and I find it a significant step backwards. While arrow key navigation is useful. I am encountering other problems that significantly outweigh the benefits.
There must have been some automatic update, and now it's, 90 percent loaded over and over, and the infamous, safari is not responding.
Anyone else?, or am I just lucky.
Any idea why Voiceover reads aloud the entire address after each letter typed in the address bar in Safari? Any tips would be greatly appreciated as it is driving me nuts! Thanks!
Hi lately safari is a pain.
When i navigate pages all the sudden a pop up displays.
It says an error occurred on a page.
I have pop ups disabled.
Then just now got something saying carasel slide show.
i reset safari's preferences but no luck.
I ran malware tests nothing was found
Hello Applevis forum... I am new to the community but am very happy and proud to be a part of it. In any event I thought this would be a good place to ask about something that has been bothering me for about a month now. I've been noticing that when I'm using Safari, a large majority of the time Voiceover does not automatically interact with the HTML content. For example, as I navigated here to type this message I had to manually interact with the web pages every time I clicked a new link. When Safari has one of these fits I notice it really messes up google searches.
Hello All,
Recently after updating to Mac OSX Sierra I had difficulties with how my trackpad worked. It felt like many of my old gestures were now doing a lot of new and unfamiliar actions. I went into the system preferences and played with the settings until the trackpad worked in a more familiar fashion. However, now I have a lot of extra key strokes involved with webpage navigation in Safari I would like to eliminate.

Hello Everyone,
I only noticed this with the recently released safari nine. It is no longer possible to press command and use the numbers to get to various favourites. for example, I have apple vis set as number three on the list. In the past, I was able to press command 3 to have the page load. However, after updating to safari nine, nothing happens when I use this keystroke. None of the favourites work. Can anyone confirm this or am I the only one that this is happening to.
Based on the comments that I have read on Applevis, I know that many Mac users are experiencing significant issues with Safari frequently locking up. While I have occasionally encountered this issue, it has not been a big problem for me. However, while trying to access my web mail through my Internet provider's website, after logging in, I consistently encountered the dreaded "Safari not responding" which lasted for several minutes. I generated a system diagnostic while this was occurring and sent it to Apple Accessibility.
Hi Apple Vis members,
I hope you're all doing well.
I am currently using macOS 26 on an M3 iMac. I am experiencing the Safari Not Responding problem more frequently. It becomes severe when I use the navigation keys, such as links and headings.
I need to completely quit Safari.
Are there any recommendations to mitigate the effect of the safari not responding problem?
This really drives me crazy. It affects my workflow and wastes lots of time.
Thanks very much for your recommendations.
Best,
Bill
Hi all. After updating to Sequoia I can no longer use right double tap window switcher in Safari – it becomes unresponsive and requires some time to recover.
It must be said that window switcher works normally in another apps and I have 50+ windows in Safari.
Anyway Safari had no this bug in older itirations of MacOS
