so I'm planning on starting a podcast and wanted to pick your brains regarding setups, means of processing and producing and platforms. I have published in the past, think I was using amadeus pro for sound editing, but it was a long time ago. the format of my podcast will be me prattling on with some interviews and possibly some listener contributions.
I've got an okay little mic ready to go, working on scripts and content, but I want to make it sound good too with a high production value.
I need to reset all settings on my MacBook. I need to reset to clear this because i I was playing around with Settings and lost the ability to access the Internet. When I tried to connect to my network now it is asking for a WPA two password wich i do not have, i used to be able to reconnect using my 10 digit password which was my home telephone number. Hoping to reconnect so I can do a complete wipe and reinstall the OS. Obviously by doing this right now requires a connection to the Internet.can anyone be able to tell me how I could do this with terminal
I was doing experiences with sound flower. I went to the system settings, sounds, output devices. Interacted with the devices table and vo down arrow till my new agregate device, but something went kind of wrong and I lost voiceover speech.
When this happens, I vo up arrow the same number of imes I did vo down and I am back to builtin speakers, but at this time I have really no idea why it did not work, meaning I am without voiceover.
So I am looking for a way of reseting my output device to builtin speakers, so that I have voiceover back.
I have voiceover only in the login area.

I have been experiencing with some VoiceOver settings.
The issue is that when I am at the loggin screen when i am not logged in yet Alex is pronouncing words in my native language and it mreads the cyrillic letters which makes the process of the logging in quite slow. I tried to reset VoiceOver settings but it doesn{t help in the case when logging into the OS.
Also I experienced with deleting some voices to see if it helps.

Hi all. Are any of you aware of a way to reset the admin password using VoiceOver? I called Apple accessibility this morning for help with the strange password issue I've been having. The first guy to whom I spoke tried to walk me through the steps of resetting it via the Terminal in Recovery Mode on my MacBook Air. However, we were not successful because the password reset window kept losing focus. I had somebody coming over so I had to call them back. The second guy tried the same thing with me, but couldn't get it either.
I need some help trying to reset my user password. I can get to the recovery part , but when I type in the terminal text box reset password I don't know how to get to the area to finish the process. It says its in the background to reset password. I appreciate the help to reach the area to reset my password.

Please if anyone can help with this. I am trying to reset my VoiceOver preferences and there seem to be no way to do this. I tried with Reset option in File menu but it seems that this is not possible as I can see that there're many settings that are still as I have left them before modifying them. Nothing is back to the default settings. Thanks.

Hello to all. I'm sorry if this does not belong here but I had to re-install lion and I wanted to do it on a new partition. I was able to do that and delete the old partition lion was installed on from the factory. Now I'm left with a partition that says free space. It says something about dragging and dropping to resize but I have no idea how I would go about doing that. How would i resize the partition or is there another partition manager I can use? I was using the disc utility on lion. Thanks all for the help.

Now, I have an external HD that's 1 TB. It was split into two partitions, let's call them 1 and 2.
I need to resize partition 1, so I deleted partition 2, but I can't resize partition 1 at all. Can you guide me through the steps on how to do this?

I was recently trying to do some rather elaborate formatting in a Pages document, and discovered that I can do a lot more with text boxes than I had expected. For example, with the text box selected, the arrow keys will move it .01 inches in the direction chosen, and shift + the arrow key will move the box .15 inches. At least, it usually does—the behavior is a little consistent, but VO announces the position of the box so you know whether or not you got the desired result.
to try and flush out some issues, I reinstalled mac os. Shock horror, issues remain. Turns out I'm not holding it wrong after all..
Anyway, I use ulysses for composition and noticed that when I create a new sheet when in a group, it appears at the top of the list rather than placing it in line, IE, I select a sheet, hit command N and a new sheet should appear below the one I've selected.
I've checked the sort is on manual. I've tried resetting voiceover to factory settings to see if that was an issue, no luck.

I bought a display model MacBook running Snow Leopard. When I try to open Safari, I'm told that I need to move it from the Trash in order for it to work.
When I go into Trash, I have a table showing the various items with it. When I select the Safari row, I tried to press command delete to restore the item. However, I get a sound indicating that this hasn't worked. When I move the mouse to the Voiceover cursor and right click, there is no item to restore the item.
I have been using retrieval-based voice conversion (RVC) successfully on Windows, but I am now using a Mac and I am wondering if RVC works on the Mac as well. I am utilizing this software purely for entertainment purposes. Additionally, I would appreciate any help with the installation process on the Mac. Thank you for your time and assistance.
Hi all. i'm using a free agent three tb drive, and as I was sending an email I forwarded, I got the address wrong. Clicking, Dont' save, thinking that would just delete what i started, I thought all was fine until i went to try again. I've lost the email. Iknow it's on the backup, I just don't know how to get in there. I can go in to the mail folders but not far enough down I think. If anyone can help I'd love it. Thanks.

In MacOS, the command to jump to the address bar is Command+L.
Suppose you jump to the address bar, then immediately realize you made a mistake, and want to return to the current web page with VoiceOver focus just as it was before you erroneously jumped to the address bar. Is there a keyboard shortcut for that?
I thought Command+L might act like a toggle, jumping you back and forth between the address bar and the HTML element with VoiceOver focus, but no such luck.
