Hello,
Mac
Hi everybody. My apologies in advance if this has already been covered, but when doing a search I couldn't find any mention of it. I have been experiencing occasional speech stuttering on my Mac Book Air, and was wondering if anyone else is having this. I have a 13-inch machine and my sister has an 11-inch, and she hasn't been experiencing this at all. Tia for anyone's assistance.
Hello Everyone!

I tend to use the "Mute Speech" command a lot, as hearing VoiceOver speak can sometimes be distracting when I'm working on my laptop. However, if this command is used while VoiceOver is actively speaking, VO becomes unresponsive for a few seconds, during which it is unable to provide any meaningful feedback. Because of this, every time I mute speech, I have to press the Control key to make sure VoiceOver is silenced, but this extra key press shouldn't be necessary. Sometimes even pressing Control doesn't work either.
Hello,
Hello,
I find VoiceOver feedback sounds generally too loud and would love more customization options. Here are my suggestions:
While most sound feedback is unnecessary for my use case, there are a few I still want to hear. Just like on iOS, please allow us to customize which sounds VoiceOver produces. For example, I like hearing the single-letter navigation and boundary-reached sounds while muting most of the others.
Additionally, VoiceOver’s sound feedback can be too loud, so we should be able to adjust its volume independently of the speech volume.
Submitted feedback, Feature Request: Keyboard Shortcut to Quit Apps in app/window Chooser on the Mac
Hi Apple Accessibility,
The Application and Window Chooser features are great ways for us to view open applications and windows. We can also quickly find an app just by typing its name, which is super helpful when we have tons of apps open. I have a suggestion regarding this feature:
I've submitted the feedback below to [email protected], as well as via the feedback assistant app on mac OS:
Hi,
Below is the feedback i submitted to apple:
Below is the feedback I've submitted to Apple Accessibility. Can anyone testing the 15.5 beta release test the website to see if this bug is still present?
Hi,
I’m bilingual and frequently switch between two VoiceOver voices. I’d love for Apple to add a command to change VoiceOver voices in the rotor, allowing users to assign it to a keyboard shortcut or trackpad gesture. This would make switching between voices much more efficient, without needing to adjust it manually through the rotor.
We already have commands to change pitch, volume, and speaking rate—adding a command to switch voices would complete the set..
Thank you for considering this request!
Best,
Mert Ozer
Submitted Feedback: VoiceOver Repeats Entire search Query After Each Keystroke on Safari address bar
On Safari, when typing an address or search query with Command+L, VoiceOver announces autocomplete suggestions, which is helpful. However, even when there are no autocomplete suggestions, VoiceOver still reads the entire query after every single letter typed. This is incredibly distracting—imagine hearing your full search query repeated after each keystroke.
Hello, on the YouTube Studio website, upon activating the Content tab which displays all our content on our channel, VoiceOver cannot see the next/previous page buttons, along with the combo box where you choose how many videos per page should be displayed. That’s when using VO’s Quick Nav commands or VO+Right/Left to navigate. The only way to interact with them is using Tab/Shift+Tab to focus on them, so the keyboard focus can reliably be focused there but the VO cursor, with cursor tracking on or off, doesn’t change anything. VO just doesn’t focus on those items and passes them.
Taken from an excellent person, this is the correct way to put custom ringtones on your iPhone using Catalina.
I have tried and although it can be hit and miss, it definitely works.
Moving a Ringtone to an iOS Device from a Mac Running Catalina
Adding a custom ringtone to an iOS device from a Mac running Catalina, is possible using VoiceOver, albeit a little challenging as it requires drag and drop.
After creating your ringtone, follow these steps to add it to your iPhone from a Mac running Catalina:
Hello everyone,
some time ago, I read a message (I would like to continue this topic but, unfortunatelly I don't find this message) in which someone proposed to suggest to the Apple team, the possibility to try, in the new Macos Catalina, to resolve some little problems of Voice Over.
hy guys, I wont to know, what the best accessible audio editor for the mac.
like goldwave on windows machine, thanks.
sorry for my language.
Sent this feedback to Apple accessibility:
Alright, so VoiceOver on Mac has a ton of issues with web navigation—that’s a whole other topic, but I’ll submit separate feedback for those soon.
I’d like to suggest adding an option in VoiceOver Utility to announce the tab’s name when navigating with Control+Tab.
First I'd like to say thank you to everyone who is responsible for making this site possible. I would be so lost at times without the invaluable knowledge freely given by the Applevis team and the site members.
Hello apple Vis,
I want to work on a few different databases. Does anybody have any suggestions for accessible methods to use sql?
Thanks in Advance.

Hello Apple Vis,
Does anyone have any suggestions for an accessible planetarium app?
I've been researching telescopes that have the use of a go to kind of system.
Which a few have a keypad where you'd enter in your number for said object. lIke Andromeda for an example would be M31.
