Hi all, I need some help. I visited a blog that's written in English but I believe the author wrote it with tags that are for another language. In other words, the English comes out wihta pronounced French accent. how to get voiceover to read it in English?

Hi everyone. I have a weird question. I think i'm the idiot here so you be the judge. I am unable to switch windows or tabs in safari. for instance I was reading an article and they had books so I opened another for the talking book library service. I can not use any keys, even the command shift arrow keys, tried all four to switch from the books to the library search engine. I'm running the latest Ventera. Thanks for any help. I'm adding in here that I can switch with control tab I think it is but then it puts you at the very top of the page every time. Kinda annoying.

Hi everyone. Subject line pretty much sums it up. In sorting out this pesky password issue on my Mac, I've discovered that I'm not the admin of my computer anymore. To be honest I'm not sure I ever was, but how would I go about doing that? I've gone into "Users and Groups," but there doesn't seem to be anything there. I did see mention of the word "admin," but there doesn't seem to be a way to switch to that even when interacting. I'm running Yosemite.

I am new to this group. I am trying to learn how to use voice over on a MAC. I am using an iphone and like it very much, however I cannot seem to get my head around how voice over on the MAC works. Can anyone advise me as to any books, etc that might be helpful? The local Apple store says it provides lessons only if I buy a new computer.

I am using the default Apple mail app on my iPhone 6, as well as the default Apple mail app on my iMac. Both the iPhone and iMac are running the latest versions of their respective operating systems.

I am however noticing some odd behaviour when flagging emails and was wondering if anybody knew the answer.

When i flag an email on my iPhone, it gets synced with my iMac and also shows up as flagged on my iMac.

However, when i flag an email on my iMac, it does not show up under flagged messages on my iPhone.

Hello all:
I have a folder containing my videos and i need to sync it between my Iphone and mac,
i do not want to use Cloud services, because it is a big folder about 100 GB, and i always update it,
so, is there a method to do this? even in a manual way, not automaticc, which means that i should open something to start syncing?
i can build the folder on both machines, and put same files, but am afraid that i can forget to add something on both.
ANy help willl be highly appreciated

Hey y'all. I'm wondering if someone can help me figure out how to sync apps to my iPhone using the latest version of iTunes on. the Mac. In previous versions of iTunes, there was either an install or a remove button that would show up after the name of the app was read, but that doesn't appear to be the case now. Am I missing something? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. :-)

Need to sync my Safari bookmarks to Chrome on mac in order to open the chrome on windows with the same bookmarks.
If this is not available on mac, i think it will be possible from IOS, and safari will sync my bookmarks from Mac to IOS, but need to know how can i do that?
Any help will be highly appreciated

I was just wondering if anyone out there had tips on how to sync or copy custom tones from my Mac to my iPhone, using the Finder in Catalina.

I know that before, when using iTunes, you could simply find your tones, select them and copy, then open iTunes, expand your iPhone to view the various sections, select Tones and in the list of files, do a paste command and they would sync over to your phone.

But since updating to Catalina, not sure how to do the same through the finder.

Anyone know of a simple and easy way of doing this?

I am attempting to sync a couple of custom tones to my iPhone from my Mac. All of the support articles I can find say to drag and drop the file into the syncing area for my phone.
Drag and Drop with voiceOver is so unreliable that it may as well not even be included as a feature in VoiceOver. I tried it for the sake of thoroughness, though, and sure enough, I got a Could not Drop message when I attempted it. I attempted it more than once.

i have a backup from all my data on an external Hard drive, but now each time i need to update this backup version, i copy all my data again, which is really hard, so is there an app that can sync my old and new data and add what i created after this backup? also, will it work only between 2 hard desks? or it can work between a hard desk and a folder?

also, need to sync my bookmarks, between Safari and chrome.

I always check the box tones to sinc but it never works. There is another radio box that says sinc tones but it gives me a warning whenever I check it that everything will be deleted from my phone if I check the box so I unchecked it but it is still not sincing. I just obtained my Ham Radio technician license last week.
I downloaded an app called Morse-it, which allows you to learn and practice Morse code.
One of its features is that you can export the Morse code sound file as M4r, meaning you can use it as a ringtone.
I did this, and cannot get the ringtones I made, to sync to my phone.
Can anyone tell me how to do this under macOS Monterey?

hi everyone, i hope you're all staying safe. i've just got a new 16.5 mac book pro running catalina. i'm trying to access system dialogs and applications from f1 and f2 keys on the touch bar, i can bring up the menus by double tapping but i cant select the menu options what am i doing wrong? your help with this problem would be most welcome, thanks in advance kind regards trey.
