Hi,

I've just downloaded the Mac Spotify app the idea being so as I could import my iTunes playlists. However when I open the app, All voiceover reports is several buttons that say image image image etc. One button attempts to redownload the app, one prompts me for a new password, however the log in image no matter how I try won't do anything to bring up the screen where I can enter my user name and password. Has anyone else had any joy with this app? if not any other ideas how I might get my iTunes playlists in to Spotify?

I've been using spotify for years but somehow only just discovered that you can arrange playlists in folders. I have loads of playlists and this would be an awesome way to tidy things up, but I cannot find a way to do this. Just wondering if anybody has managed it? I think it's a drag and drop situation, there doesn't appear to be an accessible way on any platform, iPhone, Mac or Windows.
If anyone has found a workaround I'd love to know!

I was using Spotify on Mac, and i Love it, my only problem is that searching is not as good as youtube music, YT Music can guess or help if i wrote a song name wrong or something, but In Spotify, i must write the name accurate. so, i am using YT music now on mac, but i Love Spotify music quality.
so, need your opinion, what is best? i took my free trial in both platforms, but before subscribe, need to decide.

I have enough useful sight to use Numbers to work on spreadsheets is iOS and Mac OS with a mix of screen magnification and VoiceOver on iOS and speak selection on Mac Os. This works reasonably well for me although I sometimes get a little lost in the magnified screen.
I've been asked to help a friend with no useful sight to work on spreadsheets. Numbers with VoiceOver on iPad seems to be fully integrated in to VoiceOver, but I suspect that it will take a lot of practice and familiarity with the spreadsheet layout to work reliably and effectively this way.

I do not want my mac book pro to sleep at all,
I went to Battery, and I'm trying to disable tern screen to sleep after? i tern it to off, but it reverts to it's Default status which is 2 minutes, is this a bug or what? do i have to do extra thing to achieve this? there is no Apply or ok or something, so, what can i do?

Hi. I am running VMWare Fusion on Mac OS Sonoma. I am trying to run Windows 11 ARM. I was able to download and install windows, but When I open VMWare and press startup, windows doesn't turn on. For a few seconds, Voiceover shows the word suspend instead of startup, but ultimately, it goes back to the startup button. What do I need to do to start windows? Thanks.

Hi! i have the new Macbook Pro with touch bar, i ask if there are any possible to return the startup sound when Mac is turn on? it's very not comfteble. Thanks for any suggestions.

How is the state of remapping keys to use as NVDA key when running Windows on a Mac VM?

My questions are:

1- I will probably be using a desktop keyboard attached to a mac via USB. I need to use the caps lock key as NVDA key if possible or if its not then the insert key itself will also work.

I need the ctrl and alt keys to map to the ctrl and alt keys of the physical usb keyboard.

How can I do this mapping?

can we now read content? I would have thought that by now, this would have been the case?

The following message is to make you aware of the worst bug in voiceover for STEM students. I've already mentioned this briefly in the macos sequoia beta topic.
If this bug was only on the macos 15 beta I wouldn't have worried too much, although macos accessibility team has already lost trust of many blind users of macos, but this is beyond the point.

My dilemma is that I’m a decent vocalist with only marginal skills on guitar and keyboard. I’d like to be able to compose or arrange music on my laptop, but I’m not good enough to reliably play a song on a MIDI keyboard into a MIDI sequencer and then edit it. I need screen reader-compatible DAW software, which allows mouse-free step recording from the computer keyboard. It should allow me to input individual notes and chords using numeric values for track position, pitch/frequency, velocity, attack, duration, etc.

I'm a Mac user, and despite spending a lot of time and money on Windows laptops, I always return to the Mac. My reasons are pretty standard: the long battery life, build quality, fanless design, and integration with the Apple ecosystem.

Hello everyone. I'm still having to interact with the sidebar despite changing the grouping behavior to ignoramus's groups in the VO Utility. Is this a bug or is to be expected?
