Hi all!
I was just wondering... Has anyone ever tried using 3d printing software on OS X with VoiceOver? I know designing 3d models as a blind user is most likely out of the question... But is there an accessible way of, for instance, printing 3d models which others have created in an accessible way?

Hi,
I might be getting a mac studio to accomplish GPU hungry AI tasks. But I'm totally blind, and don't need a monitor. I know some of you have headless macs (mac minis or desktops without monitors). Will the mac studio work without a monitor, especially if I use a headless fit display emulator? And will I be able to do tasks that use GPU despite not having a real monitor?

Hi,
I know you can use the siri voices as regular voiceover voices in Catalina, but unfortunately, you can't use them as the system voice. Has this changed in big sir? It would be nice to convert some documents to speech using the siri voices and Book 2 speech, so that's why I'm wondering.

Where is the setting, if there is one, to change the VO key for just one application. I want to keep my VO key the same for all my applications except one.

Hi. I searched through the forum archives to see if there was any information on this, but I only found the same problem mentioned back in May of 2016 that I am writing about now. I was excited to install Acrobat DC on the mac in hopes it would be more accessible than Preview. However, just like the post from last May mentioned, I can't find any text area to interact with. These files read fine on Adobe with JAWS on Windows, so I know they're readable. I tried hiding the task pane.

From i learn computer, i did not depend or trust the bookmarks on any browser, without reasons, and each time i need to save a wetsite, i put it's link in a txt file.
But i discovered that i lost many things, i need to use this.
i know that CMD+D can save any site in favorites, but if i do not want to save in favorite, what can i do? and, how can i arrange delete or anyting from favorites.

Hello everyone, I've got to create an android app for my Uni course, and I'm trying to use android studio on my mac. I can create the project, however I'm having trouble switching between XML files, and Cotlin files. Has anyone tried this? and does anyone know of a way to switch between windows in one application? I've tried command+tab, control+tab, and a few other shortcuts, but it's not doing what I wanted.

Next semester I have to take a Statistics class for my major and I am wondering if anyone has had experience with using aplia.com. I tried using Aplia in Safari with VoiceOver however I was not able to read any of the practice questions or read the online version of the textbook.

I had some difficulty in following some online advice using voice over with Audacity and I was wondering wether anybody is able to tell me an audial way of indicating where I want a sound clip to be introduced alongside an initial sound clip, without using the graph?
As suggested by Joseph I have tried using P to pause and Mark the cursor where I want to introduce the second sound clip, followed by the space bar, followed by import the second sound clip.
After this I have used a line track / Start to cursor/ selection start.

Hi all,
I just installed the free version of Audio Hijack Pro, but I'm a little confused about how to use it. First, how do you get to the list of effects or is this not possible with VoiceOver. I went to the effects table, interacted with it, and there was nothing there. Someone recommended that I press VO shift M, but for some reason that didn't work. If som one could give a short summary on how to record and edit content with Audio Hijack Pro, or could tell me how to get to the list of effects, that would be wonderful.

Hello,I have been having trouble with auto-correct on my Macbook Aire. I have High Sierra. When I was in Pages, I would type a word, auto-correct would want to suggest another word, I would be typing too fast to do something about it and I have to go back later and correct the auto-correct. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would rather not have to turn off auto-correct, as I found it useful in the past. Thanks for any suggestions.

Could someone explain how to use the auto-correct feature of the built-in spellchecker? I can cmd-semicolon and that works well, but sometimes I'd rather use auto-correct to speed things up. This assumes, of course, that the process is fast enough to make it worth it. Anyway, if someone could give a quick tutorial on how this is done, that would be great. Thank you.

Hi all,
It's Joseph. I was wondering what tips you all could give me for using automator to create simple workflows and applications. I'd love to get started with this, since I think It will help me out a great deal. For example, I'd like to be able to grab some files that I have that aren't in mpeg audio format, and convert them to that format, but I'd like to use automator to create an app to do this.

Until recently when I upgraded to sierra (yeah, I'm way behind) my Macbook used to automatically put audio through my bluetooth speaker as soon as it switched on. But now, even though the speaker is connected, the audio doesn't come out of it until I select that speaker in system preferences. I find this quite annoying as the only reason I connect the speaker to the computer is so I can get audio from it. Is there a setting to tell the Mac to default to that bluetooth speaker?

I have a 15-inch MacBook and have installed Boot Camp as I need to work in the Windows 8.1 environment at my job. I know there is a way to remap keys in Boot Camp using a program called SharpKeys. However, this program is only for Windows 7. I tried it in 8.1, and absolutely nothing was changed.
I really want to change the Alt, Windows, and Control keys while running Boot Camp. Does anyone have any suggestions for doing this in Windows 8.1?

So a friend of mine had an extra license for Clean My Mac X and kindly gave it to me. Since I'm starting to delve deeper into the Mac world, I was just curious to know if anyone here has ever used it, if it's safe to use, reasonably accessible and worth using on my Mac Mini?

How can i use document tabs? i'm working with a colaberative google document and to make it easier they have tabs for all contributers. I need to be able to switch to my tab.
