So after about six months of doing nothing whatsoever with it, I decided to check back in on Facebook to see if there was any reason I particularly need an account there. In Firefox on Mac, it reads something like this.
"name of group) group, facebook, facebook, facebook, facebook, facebook, facebook ...you get the idea. Then it tends to spell out images, have a bunch of stuff about reels, and so on. I haven't gotten to anybody who's actually written text in a post to see if it spells that out too.

I've been trying to create a budget spreadsheet on numbers for Mac and I keep running in to a issue with inputing a formula in my spreadsheet. The question is entirely in the subject, but... Is there any tutorial explaining how to use GarageBand with Voiceover on MacOX? I tried to figure out by my self, but I get lost within multiple layers with interactions and sub interactions and sub-sub-interactions. Any help will be very appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I've been trying to learn how to use Garage Band with VoiceOver, however, there was only so much I could learn myself by just looking around the application. I was wondering if there's any help available online for VO Garage Band users. Like tutorials or written guides?
Does anyone know of anything that could be helpful?

I am wondering if anyone here has used the Go To Meeting program on either a Mac or iPhone. I am part of a group that wants to use it for virtual meetings and hoping it's accessible. Have seen some negative comments with re using it with Jaws, so figured I'd try this group.

I was using my Mac and I had to go to Google Chrome. I was on a website and Voice kept putting me in the tool bar for creating new tabs and managing them. When I tried to stop interacting with the toolbox, it made the unrecognized command sound effect, and I could not escape the toolbar. Do you know if there are any tips that I can use for using Google Chrome on a Mac with voiceover? Thank you and have a wonderful day.

I wanted to hear from those who have experience with Google Drive on the mac. For this context, i'll be using the Crome browser, assuming that one is best.
It's been a while since I used Google Drive, but I've never used it on Mac. However, I feel more comfortable using it on Mac rather than windows.
Anyone know easy ways to locate a folder and then files within that folder?

Hi. Io was wondering how to navigate iBooks using VO? When I try to scroll with the arrow keys, the page just scrolls and nothing happens. Using the VO keys and the arrow keys works. I would like to use the arrow keys to navigate a book.

I've been learning to use iMac with voiceover and have always been able to change the rotor using the left and up arrow, however today I cannot. When I press these keys the cursor is just moving through content a letter at a time. Can anyone help please? I know about the web rotor that you get when you press VO+U but this is not what I want to use.

Hi! I am looking for opshen in voiceover on osX that allow me to skip between bloks of text like in jaws for windows or NVDA. My means skip about blok of content of statik text wen i am press on a leter n in jaws or evrey other screen reader. Have there think like this?

hi. i tried to use infovox with the m1 silicon Mac, and it almost caused me to do a reinstall. once i figured out the problem, i uninstalled all of the voices, and uninstalled the program itself. i remember looking at how infovox stores it's voices, on a 2011 Macbook pro. macOS Big Sur doesn't agree with that, because when i installed voices, the default system voices, including the siri voices essentially doubled themselves. 2 alexes, 2 bad newses, etc.

I am hoping to learn if anyone among us is successfully using the numpad commander on their laptop keyboard, or on any other keyboard whose numeric keypad is imbedded or integrated into the right side of their keyboard, i.e., j is 4, k is 5, l is 6 etc., and we use VoiceOver to change those numbers to be left arrow (previous line), mouse click, and right arrow (next line)?

Hi all,
So I have just received my beautiful new M4 MacBook Air and have been getting it set up over the St Patrick's Day long weekend. As I'm upgrading from an Intel MacBook Air, it feels incredibly snappy so far. Very happy.
Two of my apps, Amadeus Pro (audio editor) and EyeClip (video editor) have apparently not been updated for Apple silicon Macs however. So when I try to open them, I'm told I need to download Rosetta to run them.
Is this a good idea? Or am I better off trying to find alternatives?
