Hi all,
Apple released Monterey 12.2 yesterday. Normally, the music app should have a new AppKit-based interface provided by JET Technology for former Web content areas but on my M1 MacBook Air, I only have the old-fashioned WebKit version. Does anyone of you have the new AppKit-based version of the music app?

Thanks

The Voiceover support is just insane. For the rare who might know this little French app since this year especially it's like VisuNote with its collapsable sections, but way more modern and slick.
Formatting is cool. Can you confirm if there's a way to easily apply different text styles like in Pages with shortcuts or not?
And Voiceover... Even the new math note feature isn't bad at all.
Like even aside accessibility the apple productivity suite is so underestimated. It's the complete package, for free.

Hi,
I have the following problem with the apple Podcasts App on my MacBook air M1. When navigating through the elements or jumping to the menu bar, I have to wait until something happens. This problem appears above all when jumping to the menu bar. Does anyone have the same problem?

Software: MacOS Big Sur 11.2.3

I'll get this spelling wrong but Draconess entertainment has Silver dollar and now change reaction 3.0 ported to the mac. They also will be porting other games over. The Mac developer tool will hopefully mean I can have more games as I know the Mac is sorely lacking in anything to play. I found this on mac rumors website. Here's to more Mac games soon.

hello guys,
I started recently to wander about the features that voice over lacks. then I struck me that apple scripts is some what helpful in that manner. can't anyone who is familiar with the language of scripting create some scripts that announce elements in specific program.
like announcing word count in word or other apps that have a script friendly guide.
I think this will allow the community to share quick scripts that makes the experience more smooth and may even fix some usage lags that happen due to the control being far or full of unneeded info.

Hello all,
so as the subject states, I need helping modifying a keystrokes for an apple script I just added. Can anyone tell me how this is done?
Thanks

Hi everyone,
I recently had to do a reinstall of Mac OS, and lost some scripts I had. I don't really know how to successfully modify existing scripts or how to create new ones.

Hi,

I have a M1 Macbook Air and a M1 iMac. After updating to Mac OS Ventura I have noticed that the Apple TV App which comes preinstalled on the acs is almost not usable with VoiceOver. There is so much interacting and stop interacting with areas that are not lablet correctly that I don't want to watch whatever I wanted to watch there in the first place.

I don't know if that happened a while ago or if that is something new cause I did not use the TV App for a while now. But Iremember it being way better and way ore intuitive to use that one.

Hello, everyone!
I'm looking for someone familiar with applescript. I'm trying to make a voiceover script that would jump to a specific point on a website according to a text I previously supply.
I don't know if this can be done as I have been looking for the last 3 weeks all over the internet, with safari, with voiceover cursor, by changing the keyboard cursor position, but it seems as thoguh there is nothing that lets me find the text of a safari window nor jump to a specific point.
Has anyone done this?

Cheers.

I've made this apple script and share the code with you here to be sure there is nothing that causes security issues.
Features:
• indicate battery level
• Indicate whether battery is charging, fully charged or discharging.
How to use it?!
1. Download the script file or copy the code below. If you download the file continue from step 4.
2. If you copied the code, open Apple script editor by searching for "Script" on spotlight.
3. paste the code and save the file in a directory you could easily reach.

Is anybody else finding the Application Chooser slow to load on Big Sur?

For me, there can be a delay of a couple seconds after pressing VO-F1-F1 before the Application Chooser loads. This was not the case before Big Sur.

This is on an M1 MacBook Air, which makes this niggle even more frustrating as this darn thing is supposed to fly!

Earlyer today I tried installing a couple of programs on to my mac from the internet. Whether this is because I use Google Chrome, not Safari, I don't know, but it's installed them as discs, not programs. I can open them fine, but there are 2 problems. 1 of the programs I don't need because it wasn't what I wanted, and I can't uninstall it.

Hi all,

I know this has been posted here many times before but it just seemed easier to start my own post rather than flicking through all of the different comments. I'm looking for an easy to use app that will let me do basic audio editing, mainly for a podcast but occasionally for my DJ mixes as well.
The things I will need to do are things like cutting, copying, moving things round, adding background music etc. I've tried out Audacity briefly and found it accessible, just couldn't get the hang of it as I'm a beginner to this sort of thing.

Hi,
I've got my MacBook Air M1 one year ago and am still wondering why the apps launch so slowly.
An example: When I open Pages, I have to wait almost 10 seconds until the app is ready for use. Microsoft Word even needs almost 15 seconds until I can work with the app. Under Windows, for example with an Intel core I5 (8th Gen) and JAWS, Word only needs 3 seconds until it's ready for use.
Can anyone confirm this behaviour on an M1 Mac (not an M1 Pro or Max)?

Thanks!

Why aren't more apps listed in the directory? Searching the site, and going through forum topics page by page is tedious work. There is more out there for Mac than what I thought, but its not easy to find because you have to search like looking for a needle in a haystack..

I have the latest MacOS installed. Lots of apps are not responding when I do basic tasks. This includes Chrome and Safari browsers most frequently, Finder occasionally, Pages and some others I forgot.
Is this related to my Mac Air getting old or some others can confirm they are having same issues with their newer macs?

Hi all I was wondering if anyone knew of any apps that I could use to record to dropbox? I know that iOS has a few and was wondering if OS X had any counterparts to these apps. Sincerely, Joseph king
