Hi how do you assign the vo keys to other keys on the keyboard?

Hello,
I am running the latest iOS10.1, and have noticed that I cannot assign photos to contacts using Voiceover. I have tried from the contacts app, photo app, and phone app. When I try to assign a photo to a specific contact, it seems to close the app, and put me back on the home screen. Is anyone else having this issue? I am using the iPhone 6S, and have reported this issue.

I am wondering if there is anyone who can assist me with a problem I am having with the Mac. I am running latest version of Catalina as I was advised when being assisted by apple support recently not to do the big sir update yet.

I had to re install my Mac a couple of weeks a go due to a booting up miss function when doing an update. When I did the re install I noticed that when in the home folder I only had certain folders showing up as follows.

Hi everyone hope you're doing well and staying safe :-) I'm running macOS mail on the latest version of macOS Sequoia. I'm experiencing a very strange issue, sometimes when I go to attach files to an email they simply refuse to attach it doesn't matter if I virtual click them press enter to open them or press on them with the standard control option space they just do not attach.

I use Apple Notes extensively on my iPhone to save documents such as flight and hotel bookings, medical records and other documents.

I find it easy to navigate on iPhone, however on Mac i am facing challenges when navigating the very same notes.

Does anybody know how to change the way attachments are handled in the Apple Mail application?

Currently, when i recieve an email with an attachment, all the attachments show up as icons on the bottom of the email message. Is there anyway to change this so that attachments are handled the same way they are in Microsoft Outlook, where the attachments show up as a list right below the To, From and Subject field, and right before the email body?

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions regarding volume control of an audio file in audacity. I'm trying to merge two audio files, and lower the volume of one of them, but the volume slider doesn't seem to work with voiceover. I've never done anything like this before, and I'm kind of lost. I couldn't find any info online about this. Any help or suggestions for other apps or software I could use would be greatly appreciated!

I'm trying to edit an MP3 file with the latest screenreader version of Audacity on the Mac. All the keyboard shortcuts and commands work fine accept the seek back and forward commands, which should be the left and right arrow keys, or the comma and full stop keys. I can't seem to get this to work properly. I have checked in keyboard preferences and they're definitely set correctly, and they're definitely coded correctly in the .xml file.

Hi all. If anyone has audible, have you recently found the site nearly impossible to use? Even the "acess site", is deplorable. Once I'm signed in, I'll search for a narrator's name. I then select new releases. If I can get that far, i'm lucky. Safari says "busy", even on the moible site. I've put my membership on hold for a little bit. Even trying to cancel I have to use the iPhone. I'm also annoyed, they have eight books in a series, didn't contract for the new one, because it's under a different publisher.

Has anybody used the software Absentia DX on cleaning their audio recordings? If anybody has, can you please provide a feedback if the software is worth the buck or can you recommend a different software?

Hi. Since upgrading to macos26 i have the problem that my audio service randomly dies. Mostly it happens when i connect or disconnect my headset, but yesterday it also happened after i ended a whatsapp call.
What happens is that suddenly no matter what device i connect where i have no audio at all. It's not a device switching problem but the audio is completely gone. The only way to fix it in my case is to force shutdown the computer, as i don't have a braille display regularely.

HI. I installed a audio driver so I could use my xbox headset on my mac and now I can't remove the audio device. I have tried MIDI Setup and the minus bar is grey.

I've switched over to my MacBook as my primary laptop. I doubt this is possible, but here goes.

I know there are so many cool things you can do with Voiceover, and so I hope there is a way I can do what I want here. Most of the time, I want audio ducking enabled, so the sound of whatever I'm listening to will lower so I can hear VoiceOver, but there are times when I do not want this, because of the way a certain program works. Is there a way to set up an activity or something like that, where when a certain app is open, audio ducking is turned off, and turns back on when said app is closed?
