Hi,
Mac
So I think they are kinda useless since Sonoma while they were actually in the new things voiceover could now do by breaking it before even they are release.
Basically from what I understand in Ventura and below you could only select app and websites (in safari). In 14 they tried to add contexts, things like source code, file system, console, word processing, narrative, social media, messaging...
Does the Voiceover on the Mac work with Adobe Illistorator and Photoshop fully accessibly?
I'm a blind teenager and I need help looking for a animation software that's conpatible with the Mac and VoiceOver. I'm interested in animation on computer and I want to make cartoons.
Hope to here from you soon.
Best, regards
Angel
Are there any free and accessible bible programs for the mac?
I know some here have the new MacBook Pro with TouchID.
Thinking back to the setup, enrollment, and authentication of TouchID with VoiceOver. Were there any issues?
If so, what are they? If not, fantastic!
On my ios devices I use facebook messenger to read and send chats. But on the mac this app diesnt exist. Is there a free accessible alternative? I can currently access them through app for facebook but its not easy to navigate and makes no sound when you get a new chat message.
Greetings from the Netherlands.
Hi all,
I'm looking for tutorials for Final Cut Pro for the blind.
I have searched on here but couldn't find any.
I have also searched on Youtube but only found 2 videos and they don't go into much of what the app provides.
The app itself is very accessible actually and I was hoping that I can find videos on it from a blind person perspective.
I can look at videos done by sighted users but most likely they won't keep Voiceover users in mind or use keyboard shortcuts.
Thank you for your time
hi all, i'm using M1air macbook from 6 months now. from day one I have observed, I feel the sound volume is less in my mac when I'll be watching any content on prime video or on youtube though my system volume is set to 100%.
is there any ways to boost the sound eq like bass and trebel in mac unlike we have on windows to get more clear sound?
Are there guides, podcasts or other resources for using the Mac Numbers program/app with Voice Over?
My immediate requirement is to learn how to edit a cell's contents.
All help appreciated.
Thanks.
I usually have automatic language detection off, on the speech tab. If I want to enable it I have to press VO F8, and then Command 3, and then navigate around until I find that check box and check it.
I thought setting up an activity for this would be much easier , but it looks like the activity doesn't care about that setting.
I set up the activity, selected the speech settings, then I hit define and made sure the language detection check box is on.
Hi all,
In VoiceOver utility, if you go to Sounds, there is an option to mute VoiceOver sounds.
This removes the click sound as you move from item to item, which I think I might like. However you also lose all other sounds, for example:
If you have selected the option to play a tone when you encounter a link, this no longer works.
You don't get the bubble sound when there's a spelling error.
You don't get the boundary sound.
This isn't a post about hating Mac. Nothing could be further from the truth. There are things I love on Mac OS. I love the security! I have also become reasonably efficient at using Logic pro.
But I notice so many problems and they are particularly annoying. So I'm wondering, if there are people using this as their daily driver, how?
A few months ago, I updated to Big Sur. Right after updating, I noticed that when arrowing through text character by character, it will occasionally skip a character. Also, in Numbers, when moving left to right, it will occasionally skip a column. This could be a hardware issue with the right arrow on my keyboard, causing it to register a double key press, but I don't think so, for two reasons. First, I didn't notice this problem until right after updating.
Hi,
I am enjoying the arrows navigation in HTML content in 10.10.
I've always wanted to see logic pro interface but would have never wantedto pay the $200 price just to see how the accessibility is. Now I will finally try it!
