Hi I'm taking a HTML class and I was wondering, does anyone know how to edit HTML documents on the Mac?
One of my friends told me to try TextWrangler but I can't get it to read the document after I open it.

How can i select a track in audacity and how can I edit only the selected track?
Usually pressing space will play everything together and I need to edit tracks individually in order to mix everything together in the final part.
In Amadeus pro, I need to achieve the same thing. Also how can I go to the beginning and end of a track in Amadeus pro?

I have learned the MAC OS very well with VO but, am encountering a problem. I can not find a software that I can use with VO to edit music to make custom ringtones. I understand the method of creating, moving, so on so forth but can not find a accessible program. I have tried WavePad but, had no luck and wondered if anyone had any ideas or experience with this?
If not I'll probably throw Adobe Audition on the Bootcamp and make them using JAWS since that's how I did it before I made the MAC conversion.

I have a form that I need to fill out that is a PDF document. I can view it using preview, but preview doesn't support editing. Does anyone know of any software that can be used to edit PDF documents?

I tried to edit my number in amazon.com on my Mac. It looked like a basic edit box, but I couldn't type in it. I did everything I could think of to scare it into submission but finally gave up. Does anyone know why this happens, sometimes?

I am using the mail application on my mac; and am having a hard time editing a signature because voice-over is from my experience awful in the signatures tab. How do I edit signatures?

Hi all, can someone give me some advise on editing text on a mac when on editable text fields like in emails or on the web?What key strokes are used for moving back and forth with characters, words, lines, etc? And how can you read what you have written so far?

Hi, I'm back again!
Is there an editor in terminal that works with standard movement commands? In pico I can move by lines with the arrows, and by character, but option left and right don't work to move by word, so it makes editing pretty tedious. I can't use something like text edit, because it's being called from another program. So it has to be more unix-like, if that makes sense. By default it was calling vim. I've never messed with it much,but I could try and learn it if that one works.

Is there a way to open edu files on a Mac? This file type contains a complete book in plain text with a table of contents that is clickable. On a windows PC this files can be opend with Microsoft Word.

Hi,
I'm trying to export a BUNCH (over 15000) sms messages to a .txt document. I have a 1 tb iPhone, so backing up to itunes isn't feasible, I don't have that much drive space. Is there a mac app that will let me export these texts? I did try an app that exported texts to a .db (database) file, but I can't get that to go into a .txt file. Any help would be much appreciated, as I'd love to have these texts.

This is going to be a dumb question, but since updating to Mavericks I’ve still to find a reliable and easy way to eject USB drives.
In Mountain Lion I’m sure that you could simply use Command+E or the Eject option in the contextual menu. Both of these appear to have disappeared in Mavericks.
Google tells me that there should be an icon next to the drives in Finder, but I’ve not been able to locate this with VoiceOver.
I’ve also tried the F12 key (I’m using a non-Apple keyboard).

I'm not sure how widespread this issue is, but I thought people should be aware of it. Apple support has confirmed this issue with me.

Hi AppleVis users, I wonder if anyone here can shed light on a situation I have experienced several times now. I have a MacBook Air running OS X El Capitan. Whenever I attempt to compose a new email by way of gmail.com instead of the computer's native mail app, the VoiceOver cursor starts acting strangely. If I am in the message text entry field, at random intervals the VO cursor jumps to the beginning of the block of text I just entered.

i hope you enjoy L Capitan OS 10.11
till now, i haven't updated yet. the bugs i have found are considered so much and not easy to live with. however, the thing which encourages me to update is the improvement of the speed of Nuance voices.
so, if anyone has experienced nuance voices, please let me know how they work and whether there is a remarkable development in speed. is it that faster or almost the same as OS X 10.10

Hi everyone hope you're doing well and staying safe :-) I'm running the latest version of element messenger on an M2 14 inch MacBook Pro running the latest version of macOS Ventura. I'm having a very strange problem I cannot read all the messages in a given chat room when I go to the area to read the messages one message appears And I am unable to scroll down to read the other messages in the room does anybody know what's going on please and how to resolve this problem? I noticed an interesting behaviour of the eloquence voice introduced by Apple in iOS 16 no idea when did it become available for Mac.
I am mainly using this voice on my Mac with VO.
The eloquent voice is reading specific acronyms as US states such as
NY as New York
SD as South Dakota
FL as Florida
AK as Alaska
You get the idea.
I was just wondering anyway of disabling it so that it doesn't refer to those acronyms as US states as it can cause a lot of confusion.

Hello all,
I finally got Emacs and Emacspeak installed on my Mac. How do I activate the tutorial in Emacs so I can learn how to use it? When I open it There is a welcome message that tells me about the tutorial and a couple of basic commands. There is also a tool pallet with a few options in it if I interact with it and along the bottom there is a few things like full screen and close. Thanks for any help on this.

I Have recently downloaded and installed emacs and Emacspeak. Everything works fine apart from the fact that Emacspeak does not respond fast enough when I hit a navigation shortcut it needs one second until it starts reading the line word character etc. I didn’t find any solution to that problem anywhere so it would be highly appreciated if someone could help.
