I store every iota of my personal data as well as passwords in the Notes field of my Contacts list. I do have icloud turned on for contacts but as added insurance against loss I routinely export my address book as an archive file from my macbook to a portable hard drive. Does anyone know if the data in the notes field is being exported along with the rest?

I currently have a free trial of 1password.
Once my trial ends, I plan to subscribe.
My current iCloud keychain has over 400 items.
I've created a local keychain, but I get an error when I try to paste any amount of data into it.
I have an account with the AgileBits forum, but am not sure how to post to it.

I should also say that if I try to export any amount of items out of iCloud keychain, the "export" button is greyed out.

I was wondering if there was a way to export my ADM BWF Dolby Atmos audio file to mp4 so it can be played back on devices like Apple TV and surround sound?
There is a way which requires the Dolby Atmos renderer made by dolby. Great news, It is 100% not accessible! I heard there is a way to complete this through the terminal, but I don't know how to do that.
If someone could shed more light on this, that would be great.
I'm trying to complete an Atmos mix to share with someone and they want an mp4 file.

I know that there’s a way to export a file from an OSX app to a Windows file, For example, one can export a document from Pages or Text Editor to a doc or docx file. I need to know, is there any app(s) I will need in order to do an export?

I am asking because, as I have mentioned before, I am trying to get as far away from Windows as I can, because I am getting tired of the aggravation that comes with Windows.

Hi everybody. Thought I'd posted this previously but I can't find it. So my apologies if someone else has already posted about it. But when I go into the VoiceOver Help menu and then into Sounds Help, there are 2 entries that say "Expose On" and "Expose Off." I'm just curious if anybody knows what Expose is? I can't seem to find it anywhere else on my Mac, unless I'm missing something.

Hello, I am wondering if anybody here uses the Express VPN app on Mac and can speak to whether or not it is accessible. Specifically, are essential buttons labeled correctly and able to be activated via Voiceover? Can features such as profile and region switching be used via Voiceover? Can settings be accessed and changed via Voiceover?

Hi all. Long story short, my time machien ahs been acting strange thought of erasing, then starting over with a fresh hd. This is a three tb sigate external connect I think fire wire, it's not a standard usb port. However first it's now showing as mounted, now it is mounted but it won't let me erase volume failed, media kick won't support the space or something strange like that. Is there a third party app someone can help me find that just fixes this? I just want to keep using it, don't want to spend more money if i can't.

Hi all. Subject line pretty much sums it up. A neighbor friend and I were talking and somehow, Motion on the Ocean came up and so I decided to listen to Enya's song of the same name. So I connected my external drive to my Mac, and asked Siri to play it. Some other songs by Enya which I know I don't have came on in addition to the requested song. Anyone else ever had this happen before and if so, can I keep these other songs? I really like her music and would like to keep them if at all possible. Tia for anyone's help.

Hello to all. I need to extract the ringtones off of my iPhone 6 64 gig device, as I forgot that when I redid my library my ringtones would disappear. Is there a way to do this on the mac/ I tried iPhone backup extractor but could not find the m4r files anywhere. iexplorer no longer works, and phone disk has ben deprecated. iMazing works but I get the names apple assigns to the ringtones not what I called them and 'm not transferring the names from the database file as I can't remember what they all were. Is there any way to do this?

i want to right a little post detailing my dissatisfaction with the attitude regarding accessibility of tweetbot on the mac.
i first found this program on IOS and found to my Great delight that it was completely accessible, well worth the $14 that i payed.
You can imagine my happiness then when i found a mac version of this program.
I purchased it, put it on only to find that on the mac the names of the posters of tweets were not bing read out.

So after looking in the Mac app store, there is no official Facebook app for Mac, and they have opted out of letting people install the mobile version on m1 Macs. So, I am just wondering if there are any good Facebook apps out there for the Mac. I don't really care for Facebook in Safari, as it is rather verbose, and I just want to get to, and interact with all my content, without all the extra clutter. I know about the mobile site, but found even that to be less intuitive than an app would be. So, I hope someone here has a good recommendation.

A few moments ago I was really happy, when I found out through a quick google search that I can add third party messaging services, like Facebook Messenger via Jabber, in the Mac native Messages app.
I was just as disappointed a few moments later when I found out that Apple has stopped third party messaging integration in Mac OS Mojave.
Someone on a forum suggested using Adium instead, which I have tested some years ago and seem to remember that I didn't like too much, but I figured I'd try it out again to see if it had improved during the last years.

Ever since I upgraded my Mac air (earlier 2015 version) to El Capitan, I get stuck when updating facebook status using social widgets on the notification pannel because once I typed the text for whatever status, I can neither add a location nor can I find the usual post / send button that was there earlier. When I hit VO + space to submit my status update to Facebook, the VO either says that I pressed the Facebook Button or the Twitter button. What could be the reason for this weird behavior?
