Mac
Hi all,
I've set up my Facebook account with my Mac, and get notifications when I receive a message, etc. However, the main Facebook site seems cluttered and not particularly accessible with voiceOver on Safari; it's very difficult and slow to navigate and find what I'm looking for. Does anyone have any suggestions as to an alternative way of accessing Facebook on the Mac?
Hello Applevis,
Have any of you been experiencing this issue? A tab constantly pops up and Voice Over won't stop reading it. the tab is I guess a bunch of tabs to access different things. Voice Over will keep saying "Press tab to access contents." The tab pops up everywhere. It is disruptive and most of the time makes me lose my place in a thread. Any possible way I could get this to stop? This doesn't happen on the WINDOWS side of my Bootcamp.
Hi all. Using safari with the main site, I found something strange when using emoji. for starters, they have it half right. When you select emoji, there are headings to navigate by different categories, some emoji apple don't even have. However two problems happen. First, when selecting an emoji, it' seems to be placed at the beginning of the text, not the end. However the bigger problem is when i'm in the "web dialog", how on Earth do I get out? I finally had to interact and nav right to the "Post button.
Hello Everyone,
I'm in the process of recreating an All New Facebook and Instagram Account and I have some questions.
First of all, I heard that you can download the Facebook App on an IMac Computer liek mine and is that also true with Instagram? If that's the case, are the Apps that you download on the MAc Totally user friendly?
Hi all,
This is one thing I've noticed for quite a long time now and haven't really done anything about it sooner. When ever I am on a FaceTime call, every other audio including system audio, Skype calls, iTunes music and others are turned down to the point of being barely audible. I do not want this behaviour to occur. I tried looking under FaceTime preferences, and system preferences to adjust this but couldn't find anything. Can this behaviour be altered? I want to be able to listen to music while conversing on FaceTime.
Thanks
Hi,
I have an audio interface connected to my Mac. Composite audio is created, containing inputs and outputs from the interface and a microphone from the MBP.
When I start a FaceTime call, all sounds go through the interface, I only hear the interlocutors from the Mac's speakers, and they hear me from the Mac's microphone.
In the FT settings I have the output as the default audio in the system.
When I change the output in FT to the interface itself, the interlocutors stop hearing me, even though I still have the Mac's microphone set at the input.
Hey all,
I noticed when receiving FaceTime calls, the call dialogue box doesn't pop up automatically. One has to command tab over to the FaceTime app then either accept or deny the call. is there any way to make this dialogue box automatically pop up so that one doesn't need to command tab over?
In some cases, by the time I cmd tab over, the person has already hung up.
Thanks
Hi guys.

Hi, trying to use my Logitech H800 headset with Facetime on my Macbook Pro running OSX 10.11.4. When I select the headset for both input and output in System Preferences audio for other apps come through on it like playing music in itunes. But when I facetime audio call someone the ringing sound happens in my headset, but as soon as they answer their voice comes out through the internal speaker. There don't seem to be any settings regarding audio in the facetime preferences themselves. Any ideas what's going on and how can I get facetime to use my headset?
Hi everyone, this is my first post here, so sorry if this is the wrong section.
Lately Iβve been seeing more AI agents that seem to do more than just chat. One I keep seeing mentioned is OpenClaw, probably because itβs open source and easy to customize. Iβve even seen people say they bought Mac Minis just to run local models with it.
I wanted to try it myself, so I tried installing it on my computer. But the setup is done through Terminal, and I honestly found it pretty confusing. I also realized I donβt really know how to read the terminal output properly.
The following is a post from the fantastical osx app thread. It lists my comments.. Can anyone shed some lite onto this?

Hello,
In the mail application, the favorite categories are: "all received", "all sent", "all drafts", etc.
I deleted "All sent".
Do you know how to restore it?
These are probably not smart inboxes, because the ones I didn't delete are not in their section.
hello everyone. I have a m1 Mac mini and I was wondering what are your favourite Mac apps to use.
thank you so much.
