Hi all. I'm an avid user of the iPhone, have some experience with the iPad but have recently acqcquired a Macbook Pro in the last month or two. It's a 13 inch running the latest OS. I'm taking things slowly but find, with mail in particular, I'm really struggling to get my head around the native mail client. I just can't get a good visual of it in my head and I know I'm not being as efficient with it as I could be and it's really frustrating. I've found some helpful bits on here but it's just not clicking into place for me at all.

question about drafts on mac.
Hello when I open aa draft that I've saved from my iphone on the mac from the drafts folder using gmail, I can read the message just fine but its like voiceover isn't seeing the text field as an edit text field. I'll find a spot that I'd like to fix, and try to backspace on it, and I'll get characters removed that are not even in the correct position. its like voiceover isn't seeing the field as a text edit field has anyone else experienced this strange problem?

Good afternoon. I have windows live mail for my email account. what setting do I need to choose on my mac so emails I delete from other devices such as my iPhone will also be deleted on the mac?

Hi all. I'm trying to append my new website at the bottom of all emails I send from my personal account, using Mail. I have tried selecting the correct signature from the pop-up menu in the Signatures tab of Mail, but my signature is still not appearing.

I recently changed the sound notification for a new email on my mac. A day or so later I changed it back, and since then, I haven't been getting any notifications. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello everyone, after updating to Yosemite, I have had difficulty reading email. When running Mavericks, after pressing enter on a message, I would simply arrow through it. After updating to Yosemite, when opening the message that contains links, I have no idea how to read the content of the message. If anybody has any tips on this, I would really appreciate it. Does anyone know how to compose an email message when on the address field of a contact in the native contacts app? I thought it would be easy, but no input/execute command is working. I really wish there was an "add from address book" button in Mail. My autocomplete feature doesn't work for anything but the primary address. any help would be awesome!

Hi all. Is anyone willing to do a quick tip or short podcast on emoji changing the skin tone modifiers on both IOS and the Mac platform? It would be helpful so I can see how to change form light skin to medium light skin etc.

I am currently on ventura but for a while now I seem to not be able to use the faces and smilies and such.
I press control plus command plus space but when I interact with the table I don't seem to be able to navigate and get feedback, neither being able to insert one of them.
What am I missing or is there a bugg that I don't no about?

Hi all. I'm a big fan of the replacement of emoji for words when I'm typing on my iPhone. For instance if I wrote :p it would say "Tongue sticking out", but that would be an emoji, if that description makes any sense. Anyway on the mac, this behavior isn't done, I'm curious on a couple of things. First, is this possible and I am missing something? I find the interface of the emjoi window to be clunky and not as good as it could be. If I had my choice, I'd consider just a picker menu for moth mac and phone, so you just wizzed down the list, tapped, done.

Hi all. So I updated my Mac to Catalina, and noticed something weird. I was downloading some zip files from Audio vault. I don't know whether to think that the zip files I ended up with are empty because of Catalina being weird or is it the website administrators? I'm posting this here because I've downloaded zip files from them before with no problems, using the same config with Catalina and using the same utility thingy that opens when you hit Command plus O on a zip file, and there were no problems.

I recently formatted my MacBook air
I reinstalled the games that I had before and cannot get the web TTS voice on cycle path to enable, in the options menu, it says it is on even though it is not on, I tried to change the on too off and it would not save the changes when I exited. any help would be greatly appreciated

I recently formatted my mac. but for some reason I don't appear to have a "documents" folder on my mac.
I can see the other folders i.e downloads and my mac HD folder but not that one.
however other applications I have on the mac default to that folder. is there a way I can either recreate a documents folder and link it to the existing location for the apps I use or can I make it visible somehow?
any help would be greatly appreciated

Does any of you know ¬if the end note web version is accessible on the Mac?
I need that kind of software when making quotes for my papers I am writing while I am studying. THis can be done in Microsoft Word for Windows, where you can quote something from a book and it will help you make the bibliography right away in alphabetical order. I realy need this, so I hope any of you have some advice. And if End note isn't an option what would you choose to use except for Microsoft Word? Thanks in advance.

I have saved my credit card information but i can't seam to figure out how to fill out credit card information on a website automatically!
Can somebody please offer suggestions?When i say to autofill forms on a webpage, it only fills in my first name and address.

Hi everyone hope you're doing well and staying safe. Recently I've had to use numbers on mac os. I've been entering information into the cells of a spreadsheet bye virtual clicking on the cell then typing in the information. Is there a more efficient keyboard shortcut to do this? Pressing enter takes me to the next cell and the standard VoiceOver press with Control option space takes me to a place to enter comments. Am I missing something is there a keyboard shortcut I should be using to do this please?

Does anyone have Epson? If so, is software compatible with voice over? I'm considering all in 1 with OCR. Their app is remarkably accessible with voice over. This would be more cost efficient than the alternative.

Hi, can anyone recommend a epub reader for Mac that allows a person to read a whole book with no need to select the next chapter each time? Bought speech Central which seems to work but I can't get it to read with the VoiceOver voice that I prefer. Has some weird AI voice or something and allows me to use Alex which I prefer not to read with.
Voicedream is unaffordable and can't get the books app or Thorium reader to display entire books. Maybe I am missing a setting or something due to being very new to Mac. Please any advice would be greatly appreciated.
