Hello,
I use a Spanish style layout for my keyboard. The command which I previously used to go back to the previous page, cmd plus left bracket, no longer works in the new Mac OS update. It was also an issue in the beta, which I hoped would be resolved. I took a look at earlier beta builds before going back to Big Sur because of stability issues with certain apps which I absolutely have to have. I had hopes that this issue would be resolved, but no such luck.

I'm searching for an app to administer my contacts but another then the nativ Contacts app on my Mac.
I tried Busy Contacts as an alternative but it hasn't convinced me fully.
I need an app which let me arrange the fields on my own. And it shouldn't offer to much possibilities. That usually makes an app too full and complicated.
So, does anyone know an accessible easy to use contacts app for the Mac?

Hi all,
I'm looking for an app that can facilitate reading books across my Mac and iPhone. It should keep a library of items I add, and sync read positions online (via iCloud for example). I've already tried Voice Dream Reader, but given I've already payed for that on iOS, I'm not personally willing to pay for a subscription now. I've also given Kindle a look, but the way it displays text on MacOS doesn't seem accessible.
Do you guys have any suggestions of apps I can use?

I reckon many people might have already asked this question and they have been answered extensively by now, but here it is again.
I use VoiceDream reader to read my contents on my iPad and on my phone.
I am currently writing my PhD thesis and have been struggling with long PDFS on preview (though, to tell the truth, preview is more accessible lately with the new OS).
I was wondering whether there are any apps on Mac which provide similar functionality like VoiceDream reader on IOS.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Hello all
I am totally blind and would like to start putting videos up on youtube. Mostly demonstrating music equipment and other electronics. I have access to a 15 inch MacBook pro (running windows 8.1 bootcamped), 13 inch MacBook air (running windows 7 pro) as well as an iPad 4. Will probably just record in one take and not do any editing.

I know nothing of how to operate Terminal. I know some of the coding stuff kind of requires Terminal.

The first link is to an hour-long podcast that's helpful to the beginning and intermediate MacOS user. It is not difficult to follow along. The presenter is fairly good at identifying and explaining keystrokes he's demonstrating. Enjoy! smile

I have used Audio Hijack for several years. Now I'm trying to use it to record calls in Facetime, but I'm having problems doing it on my Mac Mini M1. I'm using the VOIP template session which works perfectly on my Intel based Mac Book, but in the M1 the caller voice is not recorded. I want to know if someone else here had tried this. I have been in contact with the Rogue Amoeba people, but they haven't found anything.

Hi All,
In OSX Yosemite Apple added the ability to connect your iPhone to your Mac with the Lightening USB cable and record the screen in Quicktime. However I am having VoiceOver problems doing this and wondered if others are the same?
I wrote to Apple accessibility and they responded saying that I am wrong. They said that if I change the sound input to the iPhone as well as the video input, then it would record the VoiceOver from the iPhone.

Hi I have setup soundflower on my Macbook pro and would like to use Amadeus pro, The recording is fine but I would like to choose more channels in recording I can stereo, but I need to chosse 4 channels, 2 for my voice and 2 for the mac's voiceover. any help would be greatful.
