Some similar questions have probably being asked, so let me go streight to my point:
I am not an audio editor, DJ, podcaster or anything similar..
In the other hand, because I am a somewhat experienced screen reader user and a screen reader studious, I have just made the transition from windows to mac and I think I can help folks in this situation by explaining them what's going on behind the senes, before they eventually give up.

I'm on 27.0.1. As I understand it, we can now record Voiceover/system sounds, where we couldn't before? How does this work? Can you use anything, e.g. Voice Memos, Garage Band, Logic, or do you need something specific? ANy settings changes you need to make? Basically, how do you actually do it? I have no idea.

I listened to the Applevis podcast on this issue, but I still can’t figure out what exactly I’m missing. I have downloaded Soundflower, installed the software and followed the instructions in this podcast to the best of my ability. I still can not get my voice and VO to record into the same recording. . Right now, the built in mic is picking up VO speech, and I don’t want that. I’m using Amadeus pro. The gentleman in this podcast was using Audacity. I don’t know if that makes a difference. I’m actually working on a podcast I would like to post here, but need to get around this first.

Good afternoon. I have a MacBook pro and need to record a song that will be played at church. I have a karaoke machine and an accompaniment track. I need to record myself singing the track and then put it on a flash drive. is this possible to do with garage band? Thank you.

I am interested in recording with my Mac I downloaded Audacity 2.0 and that is not bad. does anybody else have other ? I heard of Pro tools but not sure if it is menu driven I need control keys. suggestions

Hi All, has anyone been successful recording the sound passing through the audio device under Windows 10 through VmWare Fusion?
it's usually called stereo mix or "What You Hear".

Hello everyone,
I was attempting to delete the recovery partition for my mac through the terminal application. I entered the wrong hdd identifier in the terminal command, thus erasing the bootcamp partition of my mac's hard drive by accident. I'm sure the data is still there, because I didn't repartition the drive. The mac now refers to this drive as "erased disk" Does anyone know of an accessible way to recover this partition and restore Windows?

Hi everyone,
Just wondering whether it is possible to activate voiceover when entering the recovery partition on newer macs with touch-bar. I'm about to order the new 16" MacBook Pro, and am curious whether accessibility has regressed in this regard since the days of function keys. I'm currently using a late 2013 MacBook pro on which it is perfectly feasible to activate VO in the recovery partition.

Is anyone else having trouble with browsing on the redesigned Netflix website and screen readers in general? The audio description page still works well enough, but the rest of the site is fairly challenging accessibility-wise. I'm wondering if anyone has found any work-arounds for browsing etc.
I find that one can use the tab-key to navigate listings, but it is somewhat inconsistent.
I've tested with VoiceOver on OS X, Jaws and NVDA in a virtual machine.

Yeah the title would make you think that it's going to be a long post but no.
Beyond accessibility, beyond even the OS, there is one very subtle thing I think people should realize. There is a whole culture and ecosystem around an app, brand, OS or a combination of any those elements.

Hey all,
I have a quick question. I was able to get the iwork sweet with a former apple ID that I used when I first bought my mac wit hno cost. However, I had to create a new apple ID because I kinda broke the old one.Now I cannot seem to get the iwork sweet (pages, keynote and numbers) in the same way.
Is there something i'm missing here? Like, do I need to reinstall OS X in order to get these apps in the same way that i did previously? Or would I have ot rebuy them?

Does anybody use Reflector here to mirror their iOS screen to their computer?
Is there any settings I can change within reflector to increase performance? Audio is crackling a lot.

Hello all. So I had to redo my bootcamp to install Mac OS 11.1 on this SSD internal and I'm putting windows back on. The problem is is that when I go to select an ISO, can I no longer select the size of my bootcamp disk anymore accessibly? If this is the case, apple needs to fix this. I se to be able to select my sise of my partition just fine but with this latest update, I can't and it's making me mad! If you all know of any work arounds behind all of this, feel free to let me know.

Hi all. So, I do a lot of music production and I usually use garageband for all of it but there are some things that I'm wanting to do that I really can't or can't seem to do. I make a lot of hip-hop beets and I'm wanting to role my hi-hats more but I'm not sure of how to go about this when using garageband. My first question is this. Does anyone know how to role hi-hats at a specific spot and if it can be done? Second question is this. I'm wanting to go more professional with my production and I'm thinking, logic pro.

I have a question about reinstalling lion. Yes, I know I've never upgraded to mountain lion, but thats beside the point.
I launched my recovery partition and launched voiceover just fine, selected to reinstall lion, clicked continue, and went through the process of the license agreement.

I just reinstalled my OS on mac and a message went by about when enabling voiceover it will beep once while entering and then it went away. Does anybody know what that is? ICloud, username and password? I have no voiceover so can't tell what to do.
