I'm not sure if anybody has had any success with this, but I can't for the life of me figure it out. I want to create a keybind in Discord to disconnect from voice channels/calls without having to find the disconnect button. You can create a keybind to do this, but voiceover doesn't seem to actualy let you.

I know how to create custom keyboard shortcuts on a Mac for menu bar items, and I’ve successfully done so in the past. However, I’m unsure how to assign shortcuts to items that are only accessible through the Shortcuts menu rather than the menu bar.

For example, the play-pause item in the menu bar doesn’t have a default keyboard shortcut. Using the System Settings in the Keyboard section, I can easily assign a custom shortcut for it. But when it comes to items that are only available in the Shortcuts menu, I don’t know how to create shortcuts for them.

Can anyone guide me through the process of creating spreadsheet containing the following fields?
1. Date.
2. Names of attendants that can be checked and unchecked.
3. fields for filling grades for assignments.
4. Fields for the total of absence days and total of grades.
There are already grade and attendance sheets in Numbers but I thought it would be much more convenient for me to have them in one sheet.

I have saved credit card information in my iCloud Keychain, but I can't get Safari to enter my card information on websites. I've tried clicking in the card number field, as instructed, but I'm never given the option to select the card I want to use. Does anyone know how to make this work? Hi. In iTunes preferences I just found out from google that there is an option to crossfade songs. If I turn this on and then sync my iPod, will the songs crossfade on my iPod to? Also, If I turn crossfading on and then want to turn it off later, can I do that without a computer? Also, is there a way to set crossfading to only be used on some songs or playlists and not others? Thank you.

Hi, I tried to install with Crossover and then with game porting toolkit Diablo IV and 1428: shadows over Silesia, but the screen readers integrated into the games don't speak. There is a solution? Do I need to install something in the bottles to make the voices work?

Hello all:
If anyone can tell me what is CTRL+R shortcut does on mac os ventura?
SOmetimes when i press this shortcut it open the Rename dialogue, and some times it open Airdrop,
what i need is to disable all of these, i do not want CTRL+r to do anything in my system, because it affect my logic pro usage.
any ideas on how to disable this shortcut?
BTW i navigate on all my keyboard shortcut in my mac, and nothing with CTRL+R
any help will be highly appreciated

Let me be very clear up front for those who may be reading so you don't possibly waist your time. This post is not about Tweetings for iOS. This is specifically related to the Mac version.

When I press Command+N to compose a new tweet, I am in the text field to type my tweet. Thing is, if I hit return, it says new line, so I'm thinking it's literally putting in a carriage return.

I would like to think of myself as being an experienced Mac user. However, in the 7 years that I have been using a Mac, I have never found use of the TrackPad coming easily or naturally. So much so, that as I sit typing this on my MacBook, I am struggling to recall the last time that I used its TrackPad. It quite literally has to be months.

This truly puzzles me.

I haven’t played with VO and MS Word in a couple of years. I am trying to find out how accessible it is now. I am a power Windows user, so I can do most anything in Word, tables, headings, foot notes, comments, book marks and so on. How close is VO to making these things happen with Word?
Can anyone give me a breakdown of the level of accessibility for VO with Word. Even pointing me to any other resources would be nice, I can’t really find too much as of now.

has anybody got recent experience of daw on macos. used to use garage band quite a lot, and whilst it had accessibility problems, it was still quite workable for a lot of stuff. thinking of investing ina mac mini, but, my macbooks still on big sur, and i cant off the top of my head remember my end of the era intel macbook. so, whats the most accessible daw app on the newer apple scilicon based macs?

Hi friends, I am using the caps lock as my VO key. I am always getting a notification when ever I interact with an edit field as cursor actions available press VO plus J to jump. This issue makes typing in the edit fields very very difficult as I am not able to jump to that notification and click on it to turn the caps lock off. I am running sonoma 14.1.2. Is there any work around to get rid of this issue?

You can chose in macOS for a bigger pointer (mouse) but not for a bigger cursor to move in text.
Is there a way to do so?
